Great beefy safe from Winchester.
What a nice safe. I have a Cannon brand thats much cheaper without the electric lock, but this one is snazzy with the button code and even has the door pockets included.Theres a small hole in the back to poke the dehumidifier rod wire through as well. This one does not have all the fancy plugs and wiring that I didnt need.My only critique is, I couldn't figure out how to take off the keypad to put the battery in! On this model, you slide the key panel up slightly and it unhooks from the fridge-style hooks on the door. The instructions that came with it were for another style with a door on the bottom. Pretty cool system. I hope I never have any trouble with it.EDIT: I was actually expecting a bit bigger safe according to the listing here. The dimensions on this safe listing are incorrect. They are REALLY:60H 36W 25DEta: 12/19 so far so good. No problems but i still purchased the 10 year keypad warranty.

Not exactly what I was hoping for
This was my birthday gift that my wife ordered. I had looked at the local gun stores and hunting stores for the last couple of months for a new safe. Most of the comparable safes I found locally were about $500 to $700 higher plus they wanted an extra $200 to $250 to deliver the safe. This safe seemed to offer more storage for the money, so I asked for this one as a gift.On big issue that should be given careful consideration is the delivery. The 650lb safe came in bolted down to a pallet with cardboard box around it. It was delivered on a semi-truck with only one guy. The driver gave my wife quite a bit of static of where he was going to put the safe and where we wanted it. We wanted it placed inside the garage and he said he was allowed to do that and would just sit it down at the end of driveway. After my wife said she wouldn't sign for it unless it was placed inside the garage the driver finally agreed to wheel it inside the garage with his pallet jack. Getting the safe off of the pallet was a quite a chore and a little bit dangerous. The pallet was about 7 inches tall and trying to get is off was a task. In fear of it tilting over, I decided the best way was to slide it off onto some 2x4 pieces of wood and then slide it off the 2x4s to the ground. It wasn't easy to move, but achievable by 2 adult men. So keep in mind that you will have to move this thing yourself and do not depend on the delivery service placing the safe for you.The door and lock are smooth, however I would have to question the overall security of the safe. I noticed when bolting to the ground that the sheet metal doesn't appear to be more than 1/16" thick. After getting one 1/2" concrete anchor bolt installed, I noticed the safe rocking a little due to an uneven floor. When I was rocking the safe back an forth I could see the sheet metal easily flex and give around the anchor bolt. Compared to another gun safe I have the sheet metal on this one is much thinner. I had based part of my decision on this safe on the overall weight. It was a lot heavier than others found on Amazon and I assumed that the sheet metal was a heavier gauge than the others. I was wrong. The weight comes from the fireboard around the safe and not the sheet metal.Another issue is the top shelf. The top shelf is 32 inches long by 16" wide and made of 1/2" particle board. I started to put some ammo on the top shelf and noticed it started bowing a little in the middle. There is no support in the middle and quickly decided that this shelf is not intended to hold any weight. I will probably add a support beam in the middle of the shelf and it should allow me to store some heavy items there.Overall, this safe does offer a lot of storage, but does seem to be lesser quality than the other safes I looked at. Hindsight, I would of probably bought it locally and paid the extra money to have the safe placed where I wanted it and to get a little higher quality safe.
