These were so much easier than creating the floating shelves ourselves (which we were going to do). I returned the $49 brackets and die to drill the holes ($30) and got these shelves (there are 4 although we used 3) for $24. Very happy with the size and quality and ease of use.

Strong, not cheap

I don't know why these cost so much or anything else for that matter. These work pretty good however one of them was slightly bent.

The brackets are sturdy enough to support a fairly heavy shelf. Using a full-sized wooden template that fit over the edge of my shelf, I was able to align the shelf brackets with the 1/2" holes that were drilled into the shelf. While the brackets came with screws and plastic drywall anchors, the screws were too long and too large in diameter to use with the anchors. I ended up using my own plastic anchors and screws. Overall, I am pleased with the product.

The key to the install is attaching them directly to the stud. You have to cut the drywall but it looks awesome when done.

Used for a 5 foot by 11 1/2 inch wide, 1 1/2 inch thick piece of white elm shelf. Used the recommended 4 supports, shelf began to sag when installed, and two of the supports were screwed into studs. Very disappointing.

Shelf bowes event hough it has 2 screw on each bracket in studs. Anchors are worthless

Use these in a commercial application and have had no issues. Comes with all the hardware you will need for installation as well.

One of the brackets was bent quite badly. I was able to straighten it with no trouble. They are extremely well made. Looking forward to installing a couple of floating shelves. Arrived very quickly. Quite happy.

We have not yet installed our open shelves yet but the brackets are very sturdy and strong just as they were described in the description. They were delivered promptly as promised which is usual for Amazon. Great service!
