Could you use this on a 90degree cycle in the washing machine? I’m trying to dye some polyester/polyamide mix fabric based shorts. Thanks

I don't think a washing cycle is long enough. Apart of potential damage and stains to your machine. Polyester requires at least 30 minutes at around 90C whilst stirring. So the hob appears the best solution, but it will get messy.
