Catchmaster Giant Fly Glue Trap 1pk, 30ft Sticky Fly Paper Roll Outdoor

I went on vacation and came home to a SWARM of flies in my house, we're talking hundreds. I was a bit shocked by how many. The dog had gone to the bathroom in the basement and they just multiplied. The first day I tried spray, useless. The second few days (up to a week), I tried hanging fly traps, okay but they just weren't catching enough and they kept multiplying on me. I was very stressed. I tried apple cider vinegar in a cup, nothing. I thought well these are very pricey (maybe it's expensive to manufacture, it just seems like a lot) but about the same cost as bombing the house without the actual setup, moving out the plants, cleanup and washing everything down so I bought one. THE BEST thing ever. Now it took some effort seeing as I had hundreds of flies. It was the grossest thing ever. I spent the entire day strategically placing the paper all over the house where I saw them landing, I moved the paper as necessary (you HAVE to be patient, pull the paper very slowly, hold it by the very edges or it will double back on itself and be useless. Be just as careful moving it. It's very strong glue. You can cut strips with a sharp scissors or rip it if you do it carefully). After an entire day of moving papers, even waving paper in the air caught me a few, I was down from about 300 flies to 10. I was a bit burned out by the end of the day so I went to bed, got up and worked on those 10. Unfortunately even though I cleaned up, I didn't know that flies lay eggs - and on anything they can find. I had thrown something with food on it in the laundry and there were brown eggs on the towel. I spent another day trying to catch about 20 flies but this time I was better at it. I herded the flies into a room by waving a t-shirt. I put the paper in the room, shut the door, came back the next day, flies were on the paper. Now I'm still dealing with a few flies here and there, I haven't quite figured out where they're coming from. I vacuum, look for eggs. It's worth looking up a picture to know what they look like. Flies look for things to lay eggs on so it's a bit of a process if you have hundreds suddenly. Now I mostly just shoo one or two flies out the door each day. I think the babies are small in the beginning so they're hard to see. All of this because of a dog's poop. This paper was so worth it. I still have some left on the roll. I highly recommend this product but be aware, if you have a lot of flies, you have to make an effort to move the paper to where you see them landing the most, try different strategies. I was pretty impressed to catch almost 300 flies in one day. Anything and everything will stick to this paper so be patient and careful, don't use around pets or birds. It'll definitely kill a bird getting stuck to this.

I've lived in this apartment for eight years and for eight years, every summer I get fruit flies--because my upstairs neighbors, who have also lived here for eight years, are disgusting with their rotting garbage and it doesn't take long for their problem to become everyone's problem. A testament to the joys of apartment living. It takes me a full arsenal of UV light traps, fly stick traps, fly punch, homemade apple cider vinegar + soap traps, and sticky window sheets to get rid of them every year...and even then I've only got about an 85% success rate, and the only way to get rid of the rest is to wait for winter and the cold hands of a frosty death grasping them by their tiny little wings. This year I decided to try a different trap and happened to notice the Catchmaster sheets. As cheap as they are, I figured...no way these are any good, but the ratings were high and I was desperate as the problem started late this year, but made up for it by being especially bad. So I bought one roll to give it a try. Last night I popped a push pin in the wall of the room with the worst infestation, hung the trap up, followed the instructions to pull out a foot of it, then wandered off for a minute for a visit to the little boy's room. By the time I washed my hands and came back, the trap had claimed its first dozen victims. Normally it takes a few days for the flies to notice any of the traps I put out, no matter what kind. It's kind of a domino effect, as once one or two land and get trapped it seems to attract the others, like they're saying "Oh? What's friendo over there checking out?" only to realize too late that friendo is trapped, dying, or dead. It's a process, is what I'm saying. It's never immediate. It's never this fast. I was seriously impressed. Then I went to bed, curious what morning would bring. Morning brought an almost fly-free room, with the trap so completely covered with dead and dying insects I had to cut it off and pull out a fresh length of it. There are a few stubborn holdouts still buzzing around, but I'm hoping they give in to temptation soon. In the meantime I've ordered the three-pack to take care of the other rooms, and I'm looking forward to a blissfully fly-free summer for the first time in eight years. So the long and short of it is these are cheap, very easy to put out, effective, and unobtrusive. I also want to say the smell is mild, but two caveats: 1.) Even though it's mild, once it gets in your nose it sticks there and overrides everything else. I had a very, very strong-smelling lavender candle burning, one that normally overpowers the whole space, and I couldn't smell it anymore at all even though the smell of the sticky paper wasn't strong in my nostrils. 2.) My sense of smell has been broken since I recovered from COVID in 2021. Some things I can smell normally, some things I can't smell at all anymore, some things are stronger or milder than they should be, and sometimes it just completely glitches in and out. So take anything I say about the smell of *anything* with that caution in mind, because my reporting on it may or may not be accurate. I can tell you what it smells *like* accurately, though, and it's just a nice little dose of pure rot. Mild. But pure rot. But if that's what it takes to attract the little jerks, that's what it takes. I'm just happy with the end results, and willing to put up with the occasional whiff of death.

I have used this fly paper off and on for years, and it works! I have a dozen egg-laying hens, four ducks, and six cats (and about 20 wild hens and roosters that act like they own my backyard farm). All these animals create for a ton of flies. I've used many different methods/products, but nothing has been effective as this fly paper which has put a serious dent in the fly population. If you are trying to catch a smaller amount of flies, like the occasional 1 - 5 flies bugging you in your home, this will not work as well. But, if you are trying to catch Exodus-level plague of flies, this fly paper will totally work even when it rains and then dries - it still catches insects. It tears very easily, so you don't even need to use a scissors. This fly paper is a must in my backyard!

This fly trap works as expected. I put it up by my chicken coop. The only thing I don't like is the collateral damage.... The yellow jackets, moths, daddy long legs, and a butterfly 💔 I know that obviously this can and will happen but it's still sad. Luckily I was able to rescue a few yellow jackets and the butterfly by putting a Q-tip in vegetable oil and gently removing them from the trap with it. The butterfly was the worst!! It was like that childhood game "operation" but with fragile wings. If you come across anything on the trap that shouldn't be there, use a cooking oil to free it! Other than that, it's a great product.

This sticky stuff really works. Last summer i had an infestation of flies, it was due to these fly trap bags (you add water) that i had a few around my bakyard, it worked for a few days but then later it caused dead flies inside the bag to become food for new larvas to live in and then eventually turn into new flies, kinda like the circle of life. So i was not getting rid of flies at all, it was so bad i did not know what to do, thank goodness i saw a guy on YouTube that recommended this sticky product, and so i bought it, wrapped 3 large garden plastic pots, and place it at the affected areas, by the way i got rid of all the fly trap bags, it does not work to get rid of flies. Back to the story, i notice after a few hours, flies were getting stuck, more and more flies, i guess it attracts other flies, maybe because they hear the buzzing sound, I'm not sure, but the 3 wrapped garden pots seemed to be doing its job, i was pleased and after a few days i noticed an 80% decreased of flies. Every 3 to 4 weeks i would re-wrapped the plastic pots again with fresh sticky paper, by the way i have more sticky papers and will definitely be using it next summer.

I own a dairy goat farm, so flies are a constant annoyance. I have tried a number of traps over the years but wanted something for inside the milking parlor and house. Bait traps work good outside but you dont want those stinking up the house or the parlor. Watch a video where I guy was using this kind of stuff around his farm and he had great luck. So figured to give it a try. I mean if the small sticky paper in the tiny rolls works, then this should work that much better... NOPE. The details even says pre scented and no need to use bait with it. After 4 hours in the parlor or in the house. Literally a fly within a foot of each trap. But no interest in landing on the "paper". I even stuck the third one out on the back patio. The flies like it there cause its shaded. Easily 100 to 200 flies at any one time. How many were on the paper after 4 hours? Two. Just two flies. If this stuff had any scent on it at all, there would be a lot more then two flies. The only way this would work is with some other sort of attractant. Im going to try a the kind of bait you're supposed to let dissolve into water. They stink enough without that and with the plastic type film on them, they should stick to the paper and not dissolve. There are a ton of good reviews. So Im guessing its supposed to work and maybe I just got a unscented 3 pack. It says its guaranteed to work but no way Im going to try and box this stuff back up. Dont waste your time or money. UPDATE: after 4 days I can count on two hands how many flies all 3 rolls have caught. Decided I AM going to rebox these and return them.

Doesn't do much for most stuff but will absolutely suck up all the tiny pantry moths.

This product, the sticky fly rolls, is the best product to tackle the flies this season. I was at my Witt’s end watching my horse suffer from the constant attacks. I came across these traps and after a couple of weeks of diligence, my barn is pretty much fly free. For a week I was rolling them every couple of hours. Now it is once a day. THANK YOU CatchMaster for your great product. And their customer service is the best. I had an order of 3 traps that for some reason were not sticky and looked off. I wrote to them about this and got an immediate response and new rolls are on the way in less then 24 hours! A great company with a great product! Order them, you will not regret it.

Excelente producto, lo malo que la paquetería en la que me debía de llegar no tuvo ruta para mi domicilio y no me llegó (ESTAFETA NO LLEGÓ). Había hecho una compra antes y me llegó perfecto con otra paquetería (DHL SI LLEGÓ). Es un excelente producto, compraré mas en un futuro pero espero SI me lleguen.
