Is there a recommendation for how much ice to use? How long before it completely melts? Has dripping from condensation been a problem?

Thank you for your inquiry, yes you can use ice and it depends on the liquid inside on how much you use, it also depends on where you are putting it for melting and dripping may occur over time if the spigot is loose

Does the citrus create that ugly film around the dispenser?

The citrus remains in the center tube and I haven’t seen it create a film any where on the dispenser.

Can this be run through a professional dishwasher?

I would not. I'm sure you could but it will mess up the finish. We use a 3 sink method for these, although I'm sure they have gone through the FT900 Hobart flight machine a couple of times. Still look good.

Would this work in an RV?

Yes it would work in an RV as long as you have room for it. It's a 3 gallon dispenser 12x 22 so not small. What I like most about it is not having to refill it often because it is large. I love this product!
