Q: is everything included showen in the picture?

Hi Michael, yes everything in the picture is included, except of course the paints, brushes and glue. Well worth the buy. I'm halfway through painting mine and it's great.

Q: What actual paint colors do I need for this model? What brand works best? (I don't want to buy a 30 piece paint set only to use 5-6 colors).

I don’t remember specifically what colors I used but acrylic paints work best. I painted mine with a dry brush technique paints I used were grey, dark blue, white, burnt orange hopefully this helps

SPECS: Scale: approx. 1/8 Length: approx. 10-1/2" (266.7mm) Skill level: 3

Q: What does it actually look like when it arrives?

It arrives in several pieces. A lot of patience is needed. Very challenging to assemble and paint. That's why I bought it. I can show you how it looks if you want.
