Brilliant gadget well worth investing in

Excellent item. Solved a problem for me, HOWEVER, make sure you have good mobile coverage wherever you intend to use it. I thought the unit wasn’t working, I just needed to move around a little.

Upon arrival, the device exhibited clear indicators of prior use. More critically, the unit failed to accept or hold an initial charge, rendering it completely inoperable and preventing any functional testing. This fundamental power failure makes the product defective and unusable. While I respect the Huawei brand generally, the condition and malfunction of this specific item, as received through this particular listing, raise significant concerns regarding quality assurance and potential authenticity. I cannot recommend this product.

Good modem popped in Smarty data sim and we were off thats plug and play, great value works a treat.

The first thing that I noticed was that it’s surprisingly small – about two thirds the size of my phone. The second thing I noticed is that it comes with no instructions whatsoever – not even a quick start guide. I didn’t buy it for use with a phone sim, but purely to allow several devices to connect to a single Wi-Fi access port. It seems fairly complicated to set up initially in this mode, especially as there are no instructions, nor any link supplied to an on-line manual. It does suggest using an Android app to set it up. However the link is to install a new app library, and even after installing this, and searching for the app, it’s so out of date that it wont install on my Samsung, so I had to search the Internet to find some instructions on how to set it up. It only has a 2g Wi-Fi connection, so it won’t work particularly quickly whatever speed your actually internet Wi-Fi connection is. However, having said that all of that, what do you expect for £20 ? Not had a chance to extensively test it yet, so don’t know how long the battery will last between charges, but it certainly appears to do the job I wanted it for.

Took me a little while to set up, couldn’t get the password right, wouldn’t get connected. Then I found out I had the sim card in wrong way round! Works perfectly now. Handy size to fit pocket or handbag. Great piece if tech.

La calidad buena como casi todos los productos de Huawei. Funciona bien y es una forma fácil de tener wifi sin instalación. Lo voy a usar para poner una cámara de vigilancia en un lugar en que no tengo internet.

Même si le débit est bloqué en 4G, il suffit complètement à avoir une bonne connexion en déplacement. La configuration est simple et c’est un produit qui me suit partout. Cependant, la batterie ne sert pas vraiment à grand chose, car il est plus souvent branché que sur batterie

Me costó mucho configurarlo. El manual no venía en castellano. Una vez configurado, va muy fluido y permite conecta varios aparatos sin que se note que disminuya la velocidad de conexión.

Produit conforme à la description. Très performant, testé en zone à faible réseau, en voyage. Ajout d’une carte SIM physique avec un abonnement internet.

Ich verwende es in Österreich mit einer Eety-Karte und einem unbegrenzten Internet-Datentarif für 20 Euro pro Monat, ohne Vertragsbindung. Ich kann dieses Gerät uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ich habe vier Telefone und einen PC damit verbunden, und alles funktioniert einwandfrei, einschließlich YouTube, Arbeitsanwendungen und Editoren auf dem Computer. Die Einrichtung war denkbar einfach.
