The conductors are cabled together and a binder tape bearing the print legend is wrapped around the assembly. Aluminum interlocking armor is applied over the assembly. Review: This stuff is amazing - I live in the country in the woods. After replacing romex under my house several times due to critters chewing on it, I replaced the under house wire with this. They can chew on this stuff all night long and all they get are broken teeth. Not only is it easy to work with, you can hang it without worrying about damaging the wire inside. That and any short the might develop inside (highly unlikely) will be contained inside the metal sheath. Cost is also quire reasonable. This is my go to wire.
