Portable Edge Trimming Machine RBB.1000 / Trims & Scrapes/Edge Trimming Solution

This is a must have for anyone edge banding. A real time saver and very well made.My only complaint is the actual use of the equipment could be better explained in the instructions. I had to go to YouTube to figure out the router setup.I'm a cabinet maker and combined this edge band trimmer with a routing table I use for building drawers. I attached a few pictures of my table.

Router trimmer is not only way too loud, but the company says you could use any router , but that’s not correct, I have several other similar routers and none fit .

This product is reliable

Bought it. Used it a fair amount and returned it. It's just not worth $1k IMO.The trimmer part works pretty well. It cuts flush to the edge of whatever you have banded. However, it throws stuff everywhere even with dust collection attached. The worst part is the stuff it's throwing has glue on it. Melted glue from the router. So it sticks to your material making finish a nightmare.The scraper function again is just so so. If you push it down firmly it scrapes well but it's pretty hard to pass the material through. And if you're banding prefinished plywood forget it. It scrapes the finish off the edges.I was really hoping that the combination of this trimmer and they're edge bander was the solution to my problem. We don't do much frameless construction so I can't justify $20k on a pre-mill machine but at the same time we can't have what we do edge band looking like crap. I'm currently shopping now for an entry level automatic edge bander.

The Maksiwa Edgebanding trimmer is the perfect companion for the edgebander. I modified my base to make it fit in my shop were space is tight. The trimmer is well made and a major time saver.I highly recommend it!!
