New 3rd grade homeschooler does well with this book
I purchased this book for homeschooling my 3rd grade daughter. I think it is appropriate for her age. She is very smart, and a strong student, and I was concerned that this book might not present enough of a challenge for her. Honestly, she is completing the assignments very quickly, but is receiving more of a challenge than she would in public school here in Idaho. We are new to homeschooling just this year, so this book has been a good transition for us. It presents some 2nd grade concepts as first, and then dives in to some 4th grade concepts and then back to 3rd grade.

Good value
This is a very thick book! I cut the answer pages out and put them in a folder so it was easier to correct the answers. My 3rd grade son doesn't complain about doing it, it's easy for me to use to teach him. Thanks.

Sort of sucks
I would look elsewhere for a more engaging workbook. The content In this one is needlessly confusing at times. It gets the job done and that’s about the only good thing I can say for it.

Fun and complete
The kids call this their "fun book." It's one of those very rare language arts books that really has all aspects of language arts. Great resource.

Would buy again!
Currently using this for my homeschooled 3rd grader. The pages are straightforward, and don't overwhelm us while we complete our daily lessons.

Not for the price tag
This book is great! But not worth $42 plus tax. It is about language and sentences, the book is divided into several parts which are easy to see because the pages are different colors. I will be using this book as a curriculum for the school year, 3rd grade, but I really hate it being so expensive. It is a super large book though, but $10 less people.
