Rarely do I find that something I buy is "perfect," but this bench mat is very close. As you can see, the size is perfect for this work area. The material seems to be tough enough to withstand working with heavy tools/parts, yet it lets the beauty of the wood show through. The slight texture keeps things from slipping around. It is exactly what was needed. I think the mat could also work well on a desk and should clean easily. The 500-degree heat resistance is great, too. I secured it with six small pieces of clear adhesive tape so it doesn't budge at all and hangs over the edges just enough to protect the wood. The mat also covers the joint between the wood to prevent things from falling behind my rolling workbench.

good quality bench mat. I laid it out, covered it with cardboard, and placed bricks and blocks on it for 2 days. the mat is flat and holds to my bench perfectly. It looks really good. it is the right thickness, and it looks like it will clean really easy. Good quality bench mat at a very good price. highly recommend.

I needed a long, sturdy banch mat for my new workspace and this mat is perfect. Thick PVC holds up to use. I was stunned at the price of most bench mats, but this one cost less than others and is better material. I bought one for all 4 of my benches. They work well for everything from fixing watches to cleaning steel, at a great price.

Looks nice and works well. It could be a little bit thicker . Can’t get the ends to lay completely flat, but that’s no big deal. Overall, I’m satisfied.

Bought these for 2 new work tables i ordered for the rock workroom, heavy grinding tools etc. They fit great, and curled over the end just enough to cover mounted power strips on the end of the tables so will keep splashing water off those too. Cleans easy. Thick enough, durable enough, price reasonable and worth it. Recommend for your project table.

This mat is a perfect fit for the steel worktable I ordered it for. The table is used for laundry and general folding of clothes and the mat prevents snags, plus it looks nice. Mat is thick and easy to clean. Would order this again.

Great workbench mat, but it really expands and contracts based on temperature. I cut this to fit perfectly on my bench in my heated garage and used double-sided tape to hold the edges. But when summertime came it expanded, leaving lots of big humps on the surface. I put weight on them to press them down, which helped for a bit, but after removing the weight the humps returned. I'm going to remove it and reinstall with double-sided tape spaced under the entire surface instead of just around the edges to see if that works. Very durable and nice-looking on my bench so I hope I can get it to stay level.

Perfect for my workbench. Durable, lays flat after a while. Use a hair dryer to warm it up if it stays curled.

Does the job. Feels and looks sturdy and durable. Of course, you can't use this mat as backing for cutting anything but it protects my flimsy workbench top are intended. I gave a 4-star rating simply because it doesn't grip all that well on the surface that it protects. I had to use double-sided tape to stop any shifting.
