Works great, solid.
This thing was a bit tough to put together as you need some solid grip strength but it was still easy to assemble. Works great, holds a pile of shoes and fit perfectly in our back entrance.

Rough Assembly
The assembly for this wasn’t particularly difficult, but there were points when I was confused. Sometimes it looked as though the metals poles were bent and would align properly but it resolved itself when I put all the pieces together.I had to assemble a desk and a cloth dresser the same day I assembled this, and by far this was the most time consuming. It took me about an hour. My biggest issue is that I got callouses from assembling this shoe rack, and I’ve never had callouses before. They say not to touch the edges of the poles because they can be sharp and they provide you with a hammer to hammer them into place, but the hammer doesn’t do much. If you actually want to assemble the unit and make it steady you’ll need to push the poles in. I tried to do this in a way that my skin wouldn’t be in direct contact with the poles and it worked, in the sense that I did not cut myself, but I did end up with the two callouses on my right palm. I’d never had callouses before so I was quite bummed about that.I’ve been using the shoe rack for 3 weeks now and so far so great! I wouldn’t try to move it with the shoes on it, though. I don’t think it’s strong enough for that.

Exactly what I needed
Fit 30 pairs of shoes, 2 big tide bottles and still has an empty slot for more. Great space saver 💗update: many months later and still holding strong, I moved and now I have space to buy another one:) it held together great.

Absolutely Awful Truly A Disaster
Terrible design, either the rods are not long enough or the holes in the "supports" are not drilled deep enough.I spent 5 hours trying to assemble this shoe rack, after 3 hours I decided I would try to get just half of it to assemble but that didn't work either. Forget about trying to attach 2 sections together, clearly not happening ! As soon as one or two of the shelf rods were in place & I moved onto the next one, they all fell out !!! I did reach a point where I was able to balance 3 or 4 "shelves" but as soon as I added shoes it all collapsed. Take a look at the photo -The best part of the item was the packaging ... of course I will be returning it & I know that the parts & pieces will not all fit back into the same box so I have to find something larger but it's going back for a refund as soon as I do

Good shoe storage for a garage
Overall a good product for what we needed. I only wish some of the smaller shelves had more space between them. We have a lot of high top hiking boots that I ended up having to store sideways. The really tall shelves worked well for our snow boots. Depending on the size and style of the normal shoes, it was sometimes difficult to get two pair side-by-side. The shelf was moderately stable on its own. However, because of the height, I anchored it to the wall. This lead into a very stable installation. Assembly of the unit was it really that difficult. I would recommend throwing out the small wooden mallet. They ship with the product and use a dead blow mallet if you have one. Do not use a normal hammer as you risk damaging the metal and/or the plastic.
