Wonderful customer service.
Had a problem with it jamming every 3rd staple. The company sent me a replacement and it works great!

This is not a toy and does help you join frames or anything you need to hold together
If you are a picture framer or even a hobbyist this is a great tool that actually works as you would think. I have a vnail under pinner that costs over $2500 so I couldn't believe this would be any good. I will say it works.

(Fix Found) Junk (Oops...Professional) Grade With A 30 Day Manufacturer's Warranty
(I figured out the problem. The tension spring that keeps the v-nails tight in the magazine is underrated and weak. (shocker). I removed the 2 hex bolts on the back where the clasp is with the allen wrench and stretched the spring out a couple of inches. It worked great until the spring went back to it's original length. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. I finally put an inch dowel rod in the end of it, and it has worked fine until I find a better spring. I can't put a complete sleeve of v-nails in there, but it's better than the gun chewing up half of them at $40 a pack. What seems to happen is the spring doesn't push the v-nails firmly up against the driver, and it either misfires or chews the v-nail up. Of course, that will result in premature wear on the driver and housing in places it shouldn't be. It's difficult to believe that any decent engineer can be that far off their calculations unintentionally, especially since the software pretty much does it for you now. If the company wants to send me an improved design model, I will be more than happy to change my review. Otherwise, this is it) I've owned 2 of these, used almost daily. They work great for a 3-6 months. Then, as others have reported, they start to skip, jam, cut the staples in half, firing half one time and then the other half the next. I can only assume this is some form of planned obsolescence. The first one I thought the wearable parts had just gone early, even though I oil it almost daily with pneumatic tool oil. When they told me the warranty was 30 days (Yes, 30 days manufacturer warranty. That's why they don't print it, and you have to ask...and they didn't even want to answer then), and then told me the 3 wearable parts were almost half the price of the gun (with their generous discount, they said), I opted to buy a new one. The second one began having the same issues even sooner (3 months). They call it "professional" grade, which is a joke. I have HF pneumatic tools that have worked correctly for years, which, based on their definitions must be "super professional" grade. I also have a Hitachi finish nail gun that I've owned for 7 years, used daily, and have fired close to 50k nails though. Not one problem out of it, and it was only $80 more. I also use Meite V-nails, which are close $40 a pack, so that should not be an issue. Just thought people should be aware of what they are potentially spending their money on. Also, be sure to view the reviews by "most recent' instead of the default "top reviews", and notice the difference.

Skips nails
I would have given this item at least 4 stars but it only "shoots" every other nail. In between is just air. Also, you must use the strip v-nails in this gun. In order to get the nails to be fully inserted, you must loosen the front of the gun. I tried using singles stacked neatly and it jams repeatedly.

Worth the money
Easy to use.to change v nail size is simple.

Not impressed
The nailer I received is useless. The ram that drives the nails slips off the nail mid stroke and jams the gun. On the rare occasions that the nail stays in the wood, it only drives the 3/8 (10mm) v nail half way into the wood. It didn't matter if it was hard or soft wood (oak and pine). Even after adjusting air pressure from 90 psi to 120 psi, the result was the same. Hopefully I just got a bad unit, and the replacement that is on its way is better. I will write an updated review after the replacement is received and tested.
