Q: I watched the video and it didn’t help, so how do I customize?

If, by customize, you mean put ashes inside, then unscrew the top, use the enclosed funnel to add whatever contents you intend to add, and then (you can add glue to the screws before final step, which ensures the contents of your pendant stay where they are) screw cap closed. If you mean engraving or other permanent modifications to the pendant, unless you do that either as a job or “hobby” my suggestion would be to take it to a jeweler, a reasonable one will do it fairly inexpensive

Q: What is the exact amount of ashes this vial holds, 1/8 tsp, etc?

Its hard to say how much fits.. as ashes are not smooth and dont go in like sand art... no more than 1/8 tsp

I think 6 mm chain would be too large to fit.

Just a normal chain..but I believe it's only one size Chain and it's not very long so it don't get in the way...but buying a separate chain may work..
