I purchased this case for my mom. It fits her phone perfectly and makes it much easier for her to hold, by making the phone more grippable and not so slippery. I don’t know how well the case protects the phone in case it is dropped, but the case itself will help keep the phone from being dropped.

I bought this for my husband who has limited use of his hands. We are pleased with it.

This is the second time I bought one of these soft phone cases.It's made of a rubbery material that fits snuggly around the phone, and covers the back, edges, and extends about 1/16 inch in front of the screen, along the screen edges.This will provide decent protection for back and edges of phone if you accidently drop your phone or if it slips out of your pocket. Which happened to me a few times while changing clothes in a bathroom, with a tile floor, and which was upsetting.If your phone falls face down on a level, flat surface, the 1/16 inch protrursion will probably protect the screen. If the screen itself falls on something like a peice of gravel, the case won't protect the screen.You might consider what I did with my previous smart phone. I had a "Body Glove" brand case, similar to this, combined with ultra-thin shatter-resistant glass stuck to the screen. But the glass will reduce sensitivity of the screen to touch and I don't know how easily it could be removed.The case has openings for buttons, microphone, speakers, recharging opening, and the camera lens. I found that I have to press harder on the buttons because of the surrounding silicon case, but that's a trade-off for the protection, which I can tolerate.It won't protect the phone from bending stresses, like if you put it in your back pants pocket. But for me it's not an issue and I never understood why people do that.And yes, it does make gripping the phone easier with less chance of it slipping from your hand. And it's soft surface makes it less likely to slip from your pocket. In my case that's an issue since I keep the phone in a cargo pant leg pocket and the flaps may not keep the phone from slipping out, especially when changing clothes.At 9.99 dollars I find it well worth the price. Certainly better than nothing.

I ordered this for my fathers Jitterbug 3 phone. It’s working fine & was simple for him to use.
