Installed the light last year. I had some issues with shorting out in the water but that was my fault and not the light. I eventually got the splice water tight and it works great. The remote works fine but I lost mine. The seller was nice enough to send me another. The remote takes an A23 battery.

This light works great. I had to extend the cord and waterproof the splice using heat shrink tubing and solder connectors to make sure it was 100% water tight. I also had to make a plate out of stainless to mount it too in my Hayward niche. This light is replacing a Hayward color logic light that I had for 3 seasons. I have a OmniLogic system and it will turn this light on and off from that but it will not go to the specific color you want unfortunately. It will cycle through the different colors but it’s random on what it stops at. I walk out with the remote turn it to the color I want.

The remote only works when very close to the light. Very nice light otherwise! Way better than another $900 for a new Hayward that won't last 3 years.
