I had a bad night servicing one of my vehicles and needed to remove the Mcguard style wheel lock luts. This did the trick after quite a few trys per lug nut. In the end it did the job but also was able to remove the lock from the remover as well with the striking rod.kit worked perfectly and didn't need to fight with my old threaded remover kind which usually never likes to let go of the lock and you can never get more then 1 done.

The used car I bought had wheel locks on all 4 wheels and I could not find the Wheel Lock Key anywhere in the car. I checked with a local garage, and they wanted $20/wheel. This tool was a cheaper alternative, so I thought I would give it a try. The tool worked but may not work again. I tapped the remover tool on the first lock, and it just turned on the lock with little resistance. Next, I installed it with a 3lb maul. That gave it enough bite to remove the first one. The remaining locks took several hard swings with the maul, but finally got enough bite to take all 4 off. They were TIGHT but the tool did finally work and removed all 4 locks. Do not use an impact on these. This tool needs smooth constant torque to work. There were no marks at all on the locks and the tool took quite a beating. The locks are significantly harder than the remover tool. But it did what I needed, so even my single car use was well worth the cost. I pitched the locks in the trash barrel before I remembered I should have taken a picture of them. I did get a pic of the tool after use.
