Excellent Advice and Immediately Useful
Not only is this book filled with great advice, I love how the author makes it so accessible. It's like he's sitting next to me, giving his advice directly, like we're just talking. It's not hyped, or trying to intimidate with 'how much he knows.' I really appreciate that approach. It took me a while to get around to reviewing this book because I wanted to actually do what he says. And I must say, this is a great way to get in shape because it's so simple to do. But I will say this: You have to actually follow his advice.I feel great so thank you, Scott Welle. I appreciate your approach. I think it's an excellent way to go and because it's about what goes on in your head, and creating a lifestyle, rather than something temporary, it fits with how I already live my life.

I finally understand metabolism!
I've been a fan of Scott's books ever since I discovered "50 Best Ever Tips for Running" and this recent book on metabolism has also exceeded my expectations."Metabolism" is one of those terms that gets constantly thrown around, but few people really understand it. I often hear people say they have a "slow" or "fast" metabolism or need to "boost" their metabolism but does it really work like this?I got this book to finally get past all the metabolism myths and figure out the key, once and for all. If you're looking to do the same - whether for weight loss, health, or any other reason - then I suggest you do the same!

I think this book is a wonderful, complete guide for people that need thorough motivation and explanation to lose weight. And that is most people. The tips in the beginning are systematic, so that you really can follow through with the goals in your head. I will implement these tips to get myself to be more active. I also want to share some steps with my mom, I know this will help her.Thanks

Excellent resource..
This book is straight to the point - without FLUFF. The author shares exact strategies needed to take control of your weight loss. I especially enjoyed the section about "attitude" and having that success mindset. He also lists a handy workout chart illustrating exercises. In short, if you follow the advice given - you will have no choice but to get results!
