Hydro Flask Straw Cap for Standard Mouth Bottles, Leakproof Straw Lid

Very nice! Closes tightly. Easy to take apart and clean. I like that the softer parts are red so that mold can’t hide.

This accessory straw top is great. So much better than the other brands that "mostly" fit but aren't Hydroflask. It doesn't leak when it's closed, easy to get the straw in, and best of all doesn't have that soft rubber on the flip lid that breaks down so quick and isn't easy to clean. It's worth getting the name brand that was designed for this bottle.

You can't use it without the straw and you have to use the straws it comes with or it will leak, even if it seams like the same size. But other than that it's a great replacement for the usual cap. I know it sounds simple but I love it because I'm always trying to find ways to get myself to drink more water and the flip straw rather than having to unscrew the cap makes a huge difference in my water intake.

Bought this for a 5 almost 6 year old to use with a kleen kanteen narrow mouth bottle. Pros - It fits the kleen kanteen bottle, looks very easy to clean (the red silicone can be pulled in and out for cleaning), and seems less awkward to drink from than the larger wide mouth spout. Cons: There is no way that I will be able to get her to open and close the straw without touching where she is going to to put her mouth. This is not a good solution for at school :(. it’s possible to do if you are really careful and only out the very tip in your mouth or if you your pointer finger but the likelihood of that happening is slim for a child. I bought this to replace the kleen kanteen sport cap because she used her fingers to open it and I didn’t like how it was always exposed. Due to this, I will sadly return it. Hydroflask could solve this issue by having a sanitary cover, making the spout longer, or possibly making the pull tab longer Another potential con is that is leaks more than the wide mouth straw cap when the straw is not pushed down. Another reviewer had a video of it. This wouldn’t be an issue for her at this age but it might be an issue for other families.

I’ve been using this for around a month now and it works better than the reviews I saw. I’ve had no issues with the tab breaking, it fit perfectly with my 18oz hydroflask, easy to clean, and no leaks while it’s closed.

Edit to update!! I reached out to Hydroflask and they sent me a new lid and there is no milder stink!! Changed my rating to 5 stars. EXCELLENT customer service!! We are still trying to clean/soak the stench out of the original lid I received because I’m ridiculous lol So far nothing has worked. Original review: This has a very strong odor that smells mildew/musty/moldy. I tried soaking it and washing it and it's just as strong.

Totalement satisfait. J'ai commandé ce couvercle paille pour ma gourde d'une marque très connue qui n'était pas pourvue de ce système. La qualité du joint et de l'embout et des pailles que j'ai dû légèrement couper car trop longues donc parfait. Le test est totalement convainquant et je recommande ce modèle pour votre gourde qui ne sont pas pourvues de ce bouchon paille.

For those who are sensitive to smells this cap is not a good choice. It has quite a strong smell from the red silicone. I cleaned it many times and left it outside, anyway it smells.

Love it, great attention to detail. It comes with two straws, you cut it to decide the length so it works for all bottles that fit the lid shape. The red tab at the bottom can be used to hang the cap on the side of the bottle so its easier to fill up without pulling the entire straw out.
