AMTECH VS-213-A-TF clean-free universal halogen-free tacky flux - 10g syringe kit

Medium viscosity gel consistency plus immediate solder flash equals a big win for me. I'm a hack, but this stuff helped me attach some microscopic (to my old eyes) surface-mount resistors to an old automotive board. Price per ounce may not be the best, but this Amtech tacky flux is so effective you'll find you need less for each job. When this syringe runs dry I'll buy more.

Pros: - Very easy to apply - Good amount of flux for the price - Bonds well to solder and pcb contacts Cons: - need to keep the tip clean This is the best flux I've used. It bonds quickly and you only need to apply a small drop to solder components. This will last at 2 years if you're soldering as a hobby with frequent projects. Price may seem high but well worth it for the quality and quantity in the tube.

Probably the best flux you can buy for the money however it tastes very bad, do not put this stuff in a joint. Fatherboard approved of the flux however.

I have been soldering electronics for over 35 years. This is the finest flux I have ever used for circuit board rework. Buy it.

After trying many flux brands in my life, I can say this is one of the bests, I used to rely on alcohol to clean, this one though, doesn't need that!
