Q: will this work on golden retriever, labrador retriever, samoyed german shepherd and husky?

It would probably work on any of those breeds as long as the dog doesn’t think it’s a toy to be chewed on.

Q: Above it says this brush is 1.04 x 0.64 x 3.94 inches inches long - how big is it really?

The one I have is 8.5in long including the handle, and about 3.25in wide on the brush area including the edges.

Q: Is this good for my yorkie?

Yes I would think it would be very good for a Yorkies hair. It’s gentle, but does a good job on our doodles; we also do use a silver comb also to stay matt free.
