Suffered Levaquin poisoning which affected my ability to absorb magnesium. I have tried all kinds of magnesium supplements, and this is the only product that consistently works with no ill effects. Recommended dose of this is 1/4 tsp. When I was first poisoned I required 4 times the daily dose, but after almost 2 years I seem to be requiring less, between 1/4 - 1/2 tsp per day. Also, it seems to stay in my system longer than dry forms of magnesium. If I miss a dose, the muscle tics and cramps don't start up as quickly as when I rely on various powdered types.

In the past I would get this urge to have a beer, but I don't drink beer. After years of trying various beers attempting to find ones that handled the body's need, I found that Newcastle worked. Later a friend pointed out that English brewers don't filter the water like American brewers do and that certain English beers have high trace mineral content. Now I have a 3 gallon water jug with a spout that I fill with water from a water store. I add a slightly overflowing 1 tsp of PRL Polar Mins. I haven't had the need for a Newcastle since. PRL products are known for their quality.

We use an RO system and distillation for all our water, yet noticed we were constantly thirsty despite drinking plenty of water. We realized that our bodies were not getting the vital minerals needed and we were flushing good things out of our system. We started adding this to our RO and distilled water and have noticed a HUGE difference! We feel better and are no longer feeling thirsty all the time.

The product was satisfactory. I am giving it one star because Premier Research Labs never responded to to several requests for info. Here's what I wrote:I have been using Polar Mins. I am interested to know whether you have a full assay of all the minerals in the product, including toxic metals. Also, the product I received has a label with different info that what is on your website. I am interested to know whether I have a genuine PrLabs product. My label says serving size is 1/4 tsp, 94 servings. Amt per serving: Magnesium 109mg, sodium 10mg, Potassium 13mg.After receiving no responses, I wrote:Dear Debra,I am frankly disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from your company. Any respectable company should be more than willing to provide the information I requested. I will not be purchasing or advocating any products from PRL until I see more transparency about the full ingredients.

This stuff is amazing. I dislike the taste but I gulp it down with a little water really fast. I have had chronic migraines for years and I decided to change my life and take this. I haven not had a migraine in about 3 months which is unheard of for me. I also used to get charley horse cramps in my leg at night and that too is gone! This will be a staple in my diet.

Start slow with this stuff, its potent. I can compare it to coconut water regarding its ability to replenish electrolytes.On a hot sunny day working outside I add a bit to my water bottle and don't get dehydrated. I noticed it makes me really hungry soon after drinking it though so I've stopped taking it to work.. lunch is at 12 so too bad, can't wait.
