Pain in the neck, long instruction sheet, I was looking for an easy to use simple stopwatch and this is complicated for me to match all the buttons with the actions etc. Still working on how to use it! I couldn’t figure out how to set up this stopwatch so I bought another one instead…

I have had back luck with stopwatches from Amazon. Had them arrive dead, die or break after an hour or two of light use. So I was hesitant to even try this one, but feels more substantial than those which have not worked for me. This comes with battery installed, the stop watch with lanyard, instructions and a little screw driver for when the battery does die. It is a LR44 battery, so when it does die, I will need to order one, not something I keep around the house.It has 4 buttons, but two of them are "mode" and seem to do the exact same thing. Just gives you the option of pressing mode on the front or on the top, I guess. Other two start and stop the stop watch, and are used to set date/ time and other functions. Like many digital watches, we will want to keep the instructions around as setting the date, time and alarm are things we will probably not do much. Time and date were easy to set, and so far holding time accurately.It only has a couple functions. There is time, date, an alarm and a stop watch. Very easy to use with very few functions. Much easier to use than many stop watches I have seen. It has everything you need for a sports game.Seems to be a good product. It is only plastic, which does make me nervous for longevity. It also does not list any water resistance. So I am hopeful that it will last.

So I bought this mainly for the clock. I don't wear a watch and I was tired of pulling my phone out of my pocket to keep track of the time at football practice. I like that it was fairly easy to set the time (I didn't have to read the directions) and the digits are big enough for my old eyes to read. The stopwatch function is also useful now and then at practice.

This is a very useful timer at a reasonable price ...

I use this for umping fastpitch ball and it is perfect size for the job.
