As you know, it is NOT a cure for the cold, but can help prevent or minimize the duration of colds or other bugs. Regarding side effects, the only thing we've experienced is your bowel movement may be a bit looser than normal when taking a higher number of capsules daily for cold prevention; however, we have found this not be problematic and if taking for more than a few days; your system should adjust.
