Do yourself a favor and don’t brother with this item. It’s a piece of junk made in China. Thought it would be a nifty little tool to help me better see the effects of cleaning my vinyl and stylus. It did none of that. It’s so small you can hardly see anything and when you can you have to hold it 12 inches from your face so you can hardly make out anything in detail. This defeats the entire purpose of it. I don’t understand all the favorable reviews. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Will be returning it asap.

This is small and will fit in a pocket and has a case to keep it clean. I was really surprised at the amount of magnification. I was able to read writing in the border of a $5.00 bill and I was able to see inclusions in different size diamonds. I was also able to see if 'silver' jewelry was marked as sterling or 925 or was a good fake. I like it so much that I bought another one when I lost the first one. Magnification was similar to some settings on a microscope.

This does not focus in and have to hold it 12 inches from my eye to see anything through it and what I can see is smaller , not magnified

I work on high pressure equipment that can break from small cracks which can be hard to see so i thought this would be good for inspections and it only really focuses in if your right on the surface of what your looking at, that coupled with the light its really disorienting focusing on that and then taking your eyes off if it, almost nauseating

This mini microscope was so small I had a hard time seeing anything. I sent it back for a refund.
