The author presents a unique perception of the world through the eyes of a young girl. Humorous and poignant, yet surprisingly dramatic near the end. Rambling stream of conscious was a little exhausting, but worth reading!

Queenie's down home wisdom is so much needed by today's teens. She is giving her granddaughter a good foundation for later life.
