Yes, maybe about half the size of the average backpack. It's like a daypack kind of bag.

Q: How durable is this item?

For my purpose I feel it's very durable. Older adult using it for things when biking/hiking. Pretty spacious for me to take a book, snack, keys, wallet. Zippers work well. Adjustable. My only comment to this is it needs bigger side pockets for water bottle both in diameter &a little more height. Works for the slim 9oz bottle, not a12 very well. I ended up putting my water bottle in it is the side pocket.

Q: Would the backpack hold a DS in the smaller pocket?

Not sure. My iPhone 6 fits good Ã°Â`Â With room left. The small pocket is about 6.5' x 5' I hope that can help

Q: Would this fit things needed for a a Disney park? Light jacket, water bottle, first aid kit, mini umbrella, chargers, wallet, etc?

I think so. It is small but it’s roomy. I use it every day. The jacket will have to fold very small though.
