Very pretty curtains, nice large tabs and not extra long tabs, just right.

I wanted to create a softer look for my window and these curtain panels did the trick. At only $6.48 a panel, they are incredibly budget-friendly but look expensive in person. The panels will arrive a bit wrinkled but that can be easily remedied after a 10 minute spin in the dryer. The ecru color is a lovely off-white/linen color and the curtains have a much softer, billowy appearance in real life than they do in photos. I love them so much, I ended up buying a second pair for another window!

I needed a color that would match my velvet window drapes. This color was perfect. Ecru Beige. The drapes were for a CANOPY bed. 84" was a bit long and that was perfect. I bought a few to test out the look. I needed more as fabric is VERY sheer/thin. I used 8 curtains, one on each side of bed posts. I personally really liked the look of the fabric. I cut the TABs on BACK side only. I sewed up the rough opening on tab. Folded it over and stitched it again so fabric would not ravel. I used 2 sided sticky fabric tape (from Michael's). I cut the sticky tape directly from the roll and pressed onto the inside end of the tab, LEAVING the paper on the tape. Then I quick ironed the curtains. Low setting. I placed the curtains over the canopy rails and got on the bed or step ladder. I peeled off the paper on sticky tape and pressed it firmly to the tab hem I made. I like the look and will use tassels at the 4 posts to puff drapes at each corner to keep off floor. I like the look so much I am going to use these drapes again on lower half of my windows. I will use them upside down and hang from the hem. I will stitch across the hem so there will be a gathered look above the tension rod. I will also have to cut the tabs off and hem the bottom. I will have enough fabric left to use on tension rod in two small high bedroom windows. I will have to cut and hem them. I know what you're thinking. SEW.....are you kidding. I am a total amateur !! I tried several drape orders and nothing seemed to blend in color, weight, and look. Nothing had a good way to use on a canopy without altering !!BUT....the fabric was so cheap I figured I would try. I am still not finished but will try to add picture on the last order.
