Excellent raft for all your whitewater needs
I have a 13' BRIS raft already, which has been great. I purchased the 15' raft to take my family of 5 and 1 dog down the Lower Salmon River, a 5 day trip with numerous Class III and 1 easy Class IV. I added an NRS frame, built wood platforms for each side, dropped in 2 dry boxes and a yeti cooler, and we were off. The raft performed superbly. Would I rather have an NRS boat? Yes, but they're >$5000. This raft is excellent value for money and did everything I could ask of it. Highly recommend.

Great value, but will be upgrading soon.
I have had this raft for two seasons now. Mostly I have it set up for fishing, but have done up to class IV without issue (well… other than a rusty pipe on the Green that punched a decent hole which I patched with the provided kit. Patch is holding great, btw) What I will say is this is a great starter raft. When it eventually wears out I will probably upgrade to a better brand, however. One of the main issues is fit and finish, as others have commented. Not really a huge deal, but I can already see the thick rubber wear strips on the bottom peeling at the edges. It has slowly lost pressure just a bit since I bought it; not enough to need filled during the day, but a few weeks on the trailer in storage will see the back chambers with zero psi. Functionally this doesn’t matter that much since I’m topping up before trips anyways, but it is a bit annoying to do during the off season when it is trailered in storage and I don’t want it squashed under the frame. Probably my biggest functional issue, though, is the floor. The drainage is absolute garbage. On my fishing trips it doesn’t matter much at all, but in heavy rapids I find myself having to pull over onto banks and pull the nose up on shore to get the 3-4” of water out of the raft. The water will drain from the back/front, but will not drain from the sides at all because the floor fits tightly the whole way along the sides. The ends are obviously raised and that’s why you get stuck with a few inches of water after any decent rapid. Just know that for the money you are not going to get a proper drop stitch floor. I’ve seen floors like this work really well in other rafts, but they have a few large half-moon cutouts in the sides for drainage. Lastly, I run a lot of shallow rivers like the middle Yough and end up getting out to pull the raft over rocks more often than I should. Just doesn’t ride as high as I’d like in the middle and gets perched very often. Again, this is mostly a floor issue. Overall, I’m giving a 4/5 for the price, but if this costs what an NRS does I’d give it a 2/5. I mean, at this point my gear has completely eclipsed the cost of the raft several times over, so I’ll be happy when it comes time to upgrade. That said, this is a great starter raft, especially if you are running only moderate rapids in not-so-bony water.

A great raft!
We got a trailer and fully rigged this raft with a Bighorn II rowing frame, 10’ Cataract oars last summer. Took it out on Class I-III with the family on the lower Roaring Fork, Upper Colorado, and Horsethief (3 day float between Grand Junction and Moab). The raft performed super well, navigated rapids great, and is very sturdy. Today, I am uncovering it and getting it ready for this season. We stored it partially inflated and covered outdoors in the mountains. I ho early do not see the difference between this boat and a comparable brand name PVC boat… except for the price! I’ll save $3k any day.

Great family raft
I bought this in spring of 2019. I have now run it about two dozen times on the Santiam (OR), Middle Fork Flathead (MT), and Blackfoot (MT). I love the separate floor design. Valves have held up great. Its a pretty tough material too. I just cleaned it up for the season to store it and it hardly has a scratch. It has been so much fun. We have run a number of big Class III rapids without issue. The self-bailing works well. Would totally buy this again at about half the cost of a USED name brand raft.

leaks
Air valves leak..... All of them. I've bought cheap air mattresses that have better air valves.

Just buy it you won't regret it
Couldn't be happier with our purchase. Had 11 people on this raft, and the smiles were endless. Good quality at a fraction of the cost!

Leaks around the valves
Leaks around the valves and the grommets for the thwarts bent the first time it was used. I would venture these grommets/fastening system would rip after a few uses.

This is a good raft for the money.
I went on my first 4 day trip with the 15ft Bris Raft. I agree that the fit and finish of the raft is a not the best, but overall the raft did a great job on the river. I am more of a class 1 rapid person, not 3 or 4 class rapids. I think a lot of the problems with the rafts are cosmetic from the package and shipping. All in all a good purchase for what I use the raft for, and would buy again.
