it fits, 98-02 accord 2.3
it fits, 98-02 accord 2.3 f23a vtec. stopped my leaks, easy install. o ring felt a lil thin, so i used one from another kit. only needed the one seal, but it was worth it to test before buying a expensive oem part or cheap knockoff.

Great find for a weekend DIY repair!
Works good for older civics, I used this kit to seal up the distributor on a 1997 Honda Acty HA4 with no issues, fixed my leak and make the truck get spark!

Great fit for a 1995 Honda Ballade EG
Great fit on the Hitachi distributor on a 1995 Honda Ballade EG. This kit is not available to buy locally in South Africa. Had to order from USA. A bit tricky to replace, but no more oil leaks and saved a few bucks. Happy customer.

Not for TEC Aftermarket Distributors for 2000 Honda Civic D16Y7 DX
The distributor shaft seals are great for the OEM Hitachi distributors. Just keep in mind that they are too big for the Cardone TEC distributor which is Cardone's fault for changing the specs. Now I'm out of a car until Cardone responds.

Worth trying if your distributer is leaking oil
Replaced the seals in my 2002 accord 2.3l distributer with these. only used two out of the three that comes in this set. Just had to match them up with the original ones I took out. Even though the fit on one of the seals didnt seem as tight as it should be, these seem to be holding up ok.

Scratch that job off the list!
Would buy again. Beats a new distributor from Honda to the tune of $550. Disassembly of the distributor shaft press fit pin took some real beating. Carefully support the distributor housing so your zealous efforts to remove the pin don't damage the distributor. I took a strip of plumbers sand paper to the metal pin, once removed, and dressed it down some. It made for a much easier install and not too loose. Seals installed easily. Leaks solved.

Noticed an oil leak under the distributor after a few days. After removing the distributor and inspecting: 1. Shaft seal with the kit is ok as the original leak inside the distributor cap has stopped. Bone dry. 2. The O-Ring with the kit is way too thin and makes no seal with the interior of the cylinder head (the source of oil leaking in my case). For the shaft seal, this 917-136 Dorman kit will help (just make sure you use the correct one since there are two Distributor Brand (Hitachi or TEC). I will strongly recommend to purchase the O-Ring from your Honda Dealer P/N: 30110-PC6-005 FYI: OEM Honda O-Ring Thickness = .130" 917-136 Dorman O-Ring Thickness = .114"
