Will NOT LEAK DOWN THE OUTSIDE! But it is SNAP together...Horror for cleaning!
Update after 6 months:Does not leak down the outside, but vents are too low and sometimes when my cat is nervous she will spray high enough to run out the vents and down the outside. Also the ridges on the inside are so sharp I come up bleeding every time I clean it. Also ledges keep fresh pee out of litter and exposed....which starts to smell.-------------------I bought several litter boxes before buying this one. My main criteria is that it must NOT leak down the outside. My cat sometimes sprays on the inside and on a traditional cat-box...the spray hits the seam between the top and the bottom and then leaks down the outside of the box and onto the floor. Very disconcerting for a disciplined cat and parent. This is the ONLY box that has the walls fit down into the inside of the bottom tray...keeping any pee from leaking to the outside and down the walls and onto the floor. What I did NOT account for is that the walls are snap together and NOT one piece. This is going to be a problem for easy cleaning. Also the walls have ridges to reinforce and strengthen the walls...but also provide an inside ledge for pee to sit on and start to smell. I assume they did a snap together wall system to make a smaller package for delivery. Was it a good idea. NO! I'd rather pay the extra shipping to not have the interior wall ledges for pee to sit on and start to smell. Also when cleaning I'm assuming this is not going to be as easy as a 2 piece top and bottom. My suggestion to the manufacturer is to make a simple 2 piece and abandon the snap together concept. Easy for cleaning and assembly. Just make sure the top sections fit neatly into the inside of the bottom piece as it currently is designed to do.Would I buy it again? It does not leak down the outside like every other brand I've tried. RIDGES on the inside and SNAP together are a HORROR for CLEANING. Pooper scooper is about an inch too small in diameter. Good luck picking up one load of cat poop out of the box. You shouldn't have to work that hard.

Overall, a good product!
Overall, we really like this product! We have tried lots of different options from the fake planter to the doom litter box and this seems to be the best for saving space and it looks nice. The top lid also makes it so much easier to clean. We only wish there was an inside pan option so it would create easier clean up and allow us to line it with a litter liner. Also, the plastic piece for the scratching post was broken when we opened the package so we haven't been able to use it and there is no way to get a replacement piece without an exchange which we'd like to avoid since everything is all set up.

This is super cute and I loved it when we first got it. But we bought it in July 2017 and 2 months later the top broke. Now it falls in every time our cat uses the litter box. The cardboard cat scratcher that came on the side of it fell off every day till I just threw it away. It does a great job of keeping litter contained and is easy to clean. I wish the top didn’t break so soon after buying it. I combined this with the Black Hole Litter Mat and litter stays totally contained.

Little Kitty Delight
I am always in search of a litter pan design that successfully combats my boy's need to pee straight backwards without squatting. It's an ongoing battle! Most litter pans have seams that aren't made correctly. This one is beautifully made, seams were perfect; however, there are ledges inside that catch pee... why? Unfortunately, it's also not especially big. My cats are both enormous and one wouldn't even fit inside. So...if you have a little kitty who squats, I highly recommend this pan!

Too bad So Sad :(
It's a good looking product. Easy to assemble. Fun to do with your child. Fairly priced. But had to give it only 3 stars. My cat hates it!! Assembled it in the morning came home this evening. And found out that our Jack Frost 7 month old kitten. Peed all over our beds. Btw our kitten has never peed anywhere but his litter box till today. So I took it apart. It's now repurposed as a cat friendly floor sculpture.

It's sleek and it looks good, but feels like one wrong move and it ...
I didn't realize that it had to be assembled. (perhaps I failed to read description) and I mean assemble everything, even the 'scratchpad'. the cat toy is also cardboard, although it appears to be a soft type toy. It's sleek and it looks good, but feels like one wrong move and it will fall apart. We'll see how it goes, the cat is using it, so there is that.

... originally just purchased one to see how our cats liked and we were very impressed
We originally just purchased one to see how our cats liked and we were very impressed. Our three male cats love it and it keeps odors down better than any other litter box we have ever used. Our cats accepted it right away. One of our cats is blind and he has no issues with this litter box as he has with other in the past. He does not feel confined and finds his way in and out easily. We were so impressed we purchased a second box and will be sending one to our daughter as well. It is definitely worth the investment and our cats highly approve.

Looks nice, but not worth the high pricetag.
This is a very nice looking litter box. We needed one for the living room and it doesn't look much like a litter box. Not 5 stars because it is flimsy and thin, and the scratch post is cumbersome to build. It is way overpriced, would have been a great item for 40% less.
