Better than wacom's base model.
Best for beginners and better than wacom's base model for approximately similar price.Pros.1. Perfect size2. Pen handling is good (not very thick)3. Four extra customizable buttons.4. Extra inactive area for comfortably hand resting.5. Best price to performance ratio.Cons1. Inbuilt wire (non removable / replaceable)2. Surface and button scratch easily.3. Driver is not well optimized (yet)Conclusion: If you are beginners and you budget is tight then don't think twice. Just go for it.

An absolute delight...for beginners...
This pen tablet is an absolute delight to use..1. The build quality is good...is light weight yet sturdy..has four rubber pads for cushioning and anchorage..does not wobble or slip while working...so good at that.2. Writing surface is Matt finish...it comes with a protector film on it...works with that also...but I removed it for better feedback while writing/drawing.3. Pen quality is good...8nibs are provided separately..pen is quite light actually... would have liked some weight..but no problem with this.4. Now most important... Writing...there is a learning curve to that...the hand eye coordination is a bit difficult...but it will eventually and definitely come ..and after that it is all good...The compatibility with photoshop, one note, reader, paint etc is seamless...5. It says for 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity..but in real world experience that is not possible to find out...even in adobe illustrator..the brush work can't give so much sensitivity..6. Have been using it thorouoghly in One Note..and it is amazing in that..7. Online teaching is a breeze with this...8. Compatibility with windows and Android is amazing...I used it on one plus 6 with the usb to type c adapter..works in every app in Android..9. Pricing is spot on...by far the best value tablet you can buy for..4199/-10. This size of 8.5"X5.5" is just right for teaching and drawing purpose..but if you want to do graphic design and artwork..I think you should go for deco draw..So, all in all a good tablet for anyone who wants to test waters in digital design, artwork, teaching.... peace.

defected tablet
when I move the pen to switch to other pen or eraser in ONENOTE, the tab is registering stokes even without touching the surface. When I come to the detecting range above 1cm of tablet its making random lines and strokes, I even can write without touching the tablet just above 1cm, it is very annoying to take notes this way. Maybe mine has a defect, otherwise PEN is amazing for taking notes its not bulky pen like wacom or huion makes it very comfortable to write notes.

Great customer service from XP Pen but terrible product quality
Terrible! Makes strokes while hovering above the surface of the tablet. Maybe the pen is faulty. Very annoying. I think its better to go for a Wacom model than this because of its reliability factor.[Update] : I immediately wrote to XP Pen India. Their response was quick. They understood that pen was defective and arranged for replacement immediately. The new pen works fine. Coming to the pros and cons,Pros:1) pen is not bulky (unlike Wacom's base model) . It's comfortable for writing and online teaching. But some may find it little too thin.2) 4 customisable hotkeys come in handy. I've set one of the keys as undo function which is really helpful. Wacom's base model comes with none.3)way larger than Wacom's base model. You'll find it comfortable to rest your palm on the surface of tablet unlike on Wacom.4) The pen if not defective is pretty accurate. No unintended strokes while hovering.Cons:1) Cable is non-removable. If its broken.. The whole tablet becomes a scrap piece.2) Some may find pen to be little too thin.3) It is a fingerprintband scratch magnet. Even writing with the stylus leaves light scratches on the surface.Overall large surface area, 8192 Levels of touch sensitivity, stylus' accuracy definitely outweight the cons so its a good buy at the price of 4,200/-[update]Pen starts to behave like shit again just after a day of usage. I've using it very carefully for last one day. Returning the product.

Good product
The size of the product is quite large and we also get 10 replacement nibs with it, not sure how to change them. It shows some strokes even when the pen is not touching the tablet. The main advantage above all other tablet is the 4 bottons, we can format them as well according to our need. It also has greater pressure sensitivity than the WACOM. The style of the pen is also really good. I use it for teaching in Microsoft whiteboard. The only problem I face is the strokes which come at times when the pen does not even touch the tablet. Overall its a good product.

Works well, but...
I really like this tablet, been using it for 4-5 months now. Alas after some time, the paper-like film scratches off, making the tablet less responsive at certain areas. Kind of disappointed.

Achat malin !

Mac users: Pass
Seems like perfectly reasonable build quality, but there's no MacOS driver. You'll need to leave the configuration app (PenTablet) running in order to use it. The app seems to be designed to be as intrusive as possible, with a full-color, functionless menubar icon, and a complaining modal if you unplug the tablet while running it. Add PenTablet to Login Items, check Hide, and it'll still pop up every time you reboot. $20 more for a proper Control Panel became more than reasonable after a couple days' use. Returned it for a Wacom.
