So this slip is cut exactly the same as the nylon slips, which would make sense if they had stretch, but they do not and they are cut on the straight of the grain so there is no give. Knowing this I sized up from a 48 to a 52. Luckily it just barely goes over my hips. The top while it fit fine in the band, the area around the bust was enormous. I folded it under the arms about 1 1/2" overlaps on both sides and made a dart. It fits now in the bust, but there's still a lot of extra fabric to contend with. I'm thinking about buying a size smaller and cutting the bodice off and sewing it to the larger size bottom. It's so hard to find cotton slips. I suggest they consider cutting and sewing on the bias for these, as they did for the batiste slip, but with a more generous cut as reviewers say that runs small, and the same expanded sizes. If they could nail this, it would sell like hotcakes, white cotton nightgowns are on trend right now.

So excited that this 100% cotton woven slip is available, you can't hardly find them anymore. I went one size bigger due to the non stretch woven material. It fits perfect! The bust is a little large but I'm going to taper that. One review stated that the bust has a definite point to it. It sure does, but I'm going to fix that also. Going to order another one while it's still available.

Having read the other reviews, I order a 36 when I usually wear a 34. I have an athletic build. From the previous reviews I expected the fit to match a normal 34 from the waist down and to be huge above the waist. That is exactly what I got. I have had the slip altered because it is extremely difficult to find a 100% cotton slip. I love the material and am thankful that I found a cotton slip, therefore I don't mind the extra alteration cost.

The size bought was a size larger than I wear and it was still too small! Ordered again thinking I had erred and same results!!

The cotton feels nice and washed well. The underarm was a little loose. I wish the top was made with a little cotton spandex. I also wish this was available in nude. The length is good. All cotton slips are hard to find and this will work but with a couple of changes they could easily score a 5.

The only thing that I didn't care for was when I opened it, one of the strap adjustments was apart and I realized that since it was made out of plastic, it would only break anyway. So I stuck a pin in it and when the other side breaks I'll sew both side's down to fit me.

Ordered these for my mom and they didn't fit her at all,and she's not a big lady. Couldn't return because I had washed them before I had given them to her.

Since it’s cotton and there’s no stretch, it took a bit of pulling to get it over my breasts. I don’t think a size up (from 42 to 44) will change that, given that it was a bit large under my arms once on. The slip fit great once I got it on. But I haven’t washed it yet....
