ORAMASK 813 Stencil Vinyl Roll (12" x 150ft)

I used this on multiple surfaces for my stencil art. Best stuff on the market. In most cases it stays stuck, but won’t damage the surface underneath. Sticks to canvas, wood, metal and plastic. Works with several different brands of spray paint, acrylic paint, etc. It’s well worth the money.

I bought this to use for wooden sign designs. It's a great value, and my roll came perfectly packaged. Not too tightly wound, no bubbles. I think reviews for stencil film can be tricky. It doesn't work with every medium. I have had mixed results with stain. If you are using stain, make sure to apply lightly and dry completely. If you are having trouble, a coat of spray poly can help. My best tips for painted wood signs are to apply to well dried painted wood, and to paint over the applied stencil with a thin coat of your base color. This insures that what bleeds underneath (because it will! Unless you work yourself to death over the burnishing, it will. If it didn't bleed at all it would be way too sticky to use and would pull the paint off.) will match your background color. So, this stencil film isn't magic, but I don't have any problems with it when I use these methods.

I was frustrated with the cost and relatively short length of the Cricut JOY removable vinyl, which I was trying to use to make stencils. Was going to purchase a Cricut Maker instead so I could try the large rolls of Oramask. Decided to take a leap of faith and try this without a mat in the Cricut JOY and somewhat to my surprise, it works! Using the gridlines on the back and a ruler, you can get two pieces of stencil material from a piece of this material. Yes, you have to cut it, but you quickly get used to it. Perfect amount of adhesion, much less expensive than the vinyl meant for Cricut JOY, and you get the convenience of a huge roll. What's not to love?

This works great for my CNC projects. It adheres to clean wood great.

My wife and i just recently started a business where we needed a good vinyl. We used a couple different kind. Then we tried this one and it was a match made in heaven. It works perfect for our projects. Its easy for our machine to cut and for us to apply. We use it mostly on our wood projects and it works perfect. Highly recommended this product.

I have been using this stencil vinyl for multiple projects and it does not disappoint! It is easy to work with and even adheres well to wood for painting. Great product! I highly recommend! It is worth every penny!

After trying so many different brands of vinyl, this is hands-down the best option. It cuts easily, peels off easily if you place it down on your wood wrong, and has less air bubbles than other brands. It sticks really well if you are in a room temperature or heated room, however it will not stick well if you are in an air-conditioned area. It is almost completely non-sticky if it is too cold however you can put it in a heated area such as a warm car to get the stick back with ease.
