We have older controllers for our PS4. They wouldn’t hold a charge any more. It was a bit more difficult to get to the battery and get it changed out than videos show. We were eventually successful, and now they work wonderfully!

Worked great. Better than OEM. Very inexpensive! Saves your old but good controllers! Batteries seem to last much longer than OEM. Easy to install for anyone!

Battery replacement is simple. Included tools are OK. Battery is definitely an improvement, however the controller failed to charge thru micro USB port. Reinstalled original battery but it's also having the same issue. Rechecked all connections. Reset controller. Unpaired controller. Guess my controller's micro USB port is fried. Moral of the story, wear anti static band when replacing battery? IDK. Good luck!

Wife and I had our old PS4 controllers. They still work great to connect it to the PC or a phone/tablet to play games. Original batteries couldn't hold a charge anymore. These fit and works. There's 2 sets of cables on these and one will fit the controller. Tuck the other one away and you're good to go.

I liked that the battery had 2 different connection types on it. At the time of my ordering, I was not aware that some Playstation 4 controllers had different batteries and or connection plugs. I had bought this two pack to replace a dead battery in one controller and a older battery in a second controller. The First battery swap in the first controller (dead battery) went as anyone would expect. Open controller, remove old battery, connect new battery, reassmble controller, Turn on controller, enjoy. The second battery swap, went slightly different where when opening the second controller, the battery I was replacing was half the size / specs as the new one and the other controller. I paniced a little thinking I had bought the wrong replacement battery. I just needed to use the "other battery connector" and everything worked as expected. My experience had alwsays been with that controller and its small battery. These controller last soooo much longer with a new battery and with a much larger one.

The batteries I received are faulty. I installed both batteries into two Dualshock Ps4 controllers. As you can see in the video, both the controllers' lights kept flashing, and NOT plugged in to charge. In fact, to get it to stop flashing I had to let them die overnight- there was no way to stop it. Neither of these batteries work when the controller is unplugged. The ps4 shows a "?" Next to the battery symbol whenever in use, charging or not. I ended up not using these controllers, and continued to use an old one that I was seeking to replace with this purchase. I do not recommend.

doesn't hold name brand battery charge. But has tripled my batter life i had with my very old batter. cost effect so cant complain

This was my first time doing a controller battery replacement and this little kit worked perfect. I couldn't tell you if other kits are better or worse but these batteries have both the original connector and the newer one for refreshed Dualshock controllers. I had the refreshed model and the tutorial video I watched mentioned that some batteries have both. Plugged it in and it turned on right away. Why did I buy this in 2025? I had a brand new Dualshock with a dead battery due to it not being used much for a few years. It seemed like a shame to have a perfectly good controller just broken so now it's fixed and good for some multiplayer when friends come over.
