My son just had a LEGO-themed birthday party, and these made for GREAT party favors! The pieces were good quality, compatible with branded LEGO blocks, and even came with a few extra of the super small parts in each bag. My only complaint was that the instructions were a little tricky to follow and it was difficult to see the picture of the final product on each bag, so it was hard for the kids to pick which one they were getting (although some people might prefer that to avoid fights!). Also, note that there seem to be a bunch of different vehicle/boat/plane options so you may not get the same things with each order.

I purchased these for my son’s building themed 7th birthday party. The kids loved building them and they got the chance to keep or trade their new build. I then placed the second set in the goodie bag to build at home. I loved the affordability and the high satisfaction it gave the kids. The pieces are very durable and the building blocks and instruction manuals are of good quality. I liked that the instructions were kid-friendly and follow a step by step building plan using colored pictures steps in numerical order. I would recommend these for children ages 5+ as the pieces are small and would be hazardous to a child that still puts things in their mouth. For my 7yo, the mini builds are great!

Great Value! Have only put a couple together. The instructions weren't too hard to match by looking at types of pieces and colors in instructions vs in bag. Unlike some comments, my bags didn't have numbers, though for several of the kits, the instructions were right in the bag. Instructions we're as good as Lego, but I'll deal for the price. Not as easy for my almost 4 year old to follow along, he had more difficulty orienting the bricks as compared to Lego. But, with a bit more help than usual, he put them together and loves the outcome. Saving the rest for Lego party goodie bags for his 4th birthday.

I have purchased this set twice. I teach two classes of 5 to 8 year old kids, mostly boys. I give them a craft after the main lesson. They all loved these mini blocks vehicle sets. Ahead of time, I separated the pages of instructions and matched them to the bags of each toy by number. The parts are mini but the kids' fingers are small. I gave them a white paper bowl to put their parts into so they would not lose them. The younger ones needed some hints to get them started but caught on well. Some of the kids got creative and made their own versions of the vehicles. I had 100% participation and loved seeing them proudly show their parents what they had made.
