This is a heavy pottery wheel that can double as a food lazy Susan. I sprayed the top with car primer and krylon metallic paint to seal any potential rust. It is perfectly centered, no wobble, and the bearing is a real heavy duty bearing. The shipping box it came in was split on the corners from weight/transportation, and when I cut the box open & picked it up, the iron wheel slid out of the box and smashed 2 toes. Don't do that.

It is sturdy and turns smoothly! The silver top does not come off from the base which I like.

Ok it maybe a pottery wheel but based on an idea I saw on YouTube I use it to clean my pool cartridge filters. I simply place the filter on the turntable and direct a medium pressure water spray at the filter. The force of the water cleans and spins the filter so I don’t have to keep turning it. The use of the spinning turntable greatly improves the cleaning action of the water spray. There you go - well done the guy on YouTube for the clever idea. This turntable is ideally suited for this job

Very good quality! I like the height os this wheel and i don’t have to bend down so low. It gives me enough space to really work on the edges of the clay im working on esp when im making a bowl and i have it upside down on the wheel . Great size!
