The rock itself looks great, but they cheaped out on the exterior magnet ...
The rock itself looks great,but they cheaped out on the exterior magnet which is the same as in the rock. It does say up to 3/8"glass. I checked and my aquarium is 3/8".I even tried it on my 3/16" glass lids and it just slid down,the lid trial was with the rock out the water, but should have held with no problem. My magfloat for cleaning will hold it though so.... props to magfloat. I unfortunately really need to get a piece if small coral away from a hungry crab,until it can get some size, so I'll have to keep and modify to work. I believe its over priced and give it 2 stars for failing to do as advertised, essentially a rock at this point and I have to invest time and money to make work properly.

Get stronger magnets!
I like the look and shape of the rock a lot but unfortunately the magnet is pretty weak. It couldn't hold on my 30 gallon tank after a while. Luckily I figured out my magfloat magnet was a lot stronger and I never looked back.

Love the look it adds
Love the look it adds. Only suggestion to make it a 6 star - would be if the magnet side was covered in same material, to give the look of going through the glass.
