I have not found a comparable Raspberry Pi 4 Model B case for the money that includes all of the following:- 4 heatsinks (most only include 2 or 3) with adhesive thermal tape already cut to size and attached- holes for mounting the case to a wall- included fan and case designed for ventilation- small footprint and unoffensive design- easy to assemble (other cases have layers of acrylic that have to be put together in only one way and are a hassle to reassemble if you mix up the layers)- good access to all accessories and even a cutout for the LED on the boardThis is the best value case on Amazon.

After looking at a number of different models of cases I settled on this one as it was well reviewed and quite a bargain for a case, fan, heatsinks, and even rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. The case fits comfortably around my Raspberry Pi 4 B and has a nice matte finish and a few holes for ventilation. The fan sits flush with the middle layer and is screwed down. The middle layer is also screwed to the bottom layer which makes it more difficult to take apart but also means the Pi is protected.The fan blows down onto the Pi for me and vents out through the holes above the heatsinks and the hole for the pin header. There are ventilation holes on the bottom of the case but there is not much room for the air from the fan to flow around the edges of the Pi.The main thing I dislike is that the USB C and micro HDMI ports are recessed behind a faceplate which is decently thick (about 2-3mm or 1/8"). With the HDMI adapter I have it does look like it seats fully into the port but there is no extra clearance.TLDR: If the faceplate covering the ports on the side of the Raspberry Pi were made slightly thinner and the ventilation improved a bit this case would definitely be 5 stars. As is, this is a solid case with a good design and the price is superb. This makes it a great option for those who are running the Raspberry Pi under a decent load such that it needs some cooling or who need a solid case to protect their computer.

The cover with fan works great with my Raspi 4 which I built for KODI. Would buy this item again.

DO NOT BUY this chinese piece of garbage, the directions for the hookup of the fan are wrong and because they a wrong it will ruin the fan so it won't work.

So this case first you should know fits the Pi4 perfectly. Mine slipped right in where it was meant to go and every port lined up perfectly. You’re not going to want to use this case if you’re adding a HAT to the Pi but without one this is perfect. The little included fan has worked great at keeping my HASSIO install running 24/7 for weeks now on the low speed setting without any heat issues. The kit comes with all the pieces you need, unlike most things that include screws they didn’t just go with the cheapest option so these don’t instantly start to strip the heads when you turn them. There are 4 small clear rubber mounds to act as feet to help keep it in place and they work fine. I had to look over which directions things should go when installing the board, but that might just be me. No fault with the kit itself. I have metal cases for my other Pi builds but wanted to try something different and I’m not disappointed. For a good HAT less case this is a great little option that includes the fan and good airflow design. I’m happy with it and would grab it again if I’m going plastic over metal for the next build.
