This bike was easy enough to put together once I got past 1 super tight nut on the front wheel. It looks great, sturdy, love the color, the balance and the handle on the seat! Perfect for parents giving a push-off. My 5 year old hasn’t been willing to pedal before, but he took off on this the first morning, the first time on it outside! Hasn’t stopped since!!

The reviews persuaded me to purchase and after receiving it, I honestly could have gotten a decent bike for cheaper at any local store. It’s not very sturdy, as the plastic bike seat was broken upon arrival. The company did send a new bike seat ASAP and we were good to go.I was worried about the size because my son is learning how to ride at 6, but is 4ft. I didn’t want to buy a bigger bike until he learns how to ride, but so far he is managing without hitting his legs. Brakes are not that strong, but we aren’t going down any hills yet.

First, the assembly of this bike is awful, I could never get the hand brake to ever operate properly. The bike is ridiculously heavy for a child's bike. My son can barely maneuver it. The pedals are in an awkward spot for peddling. We have had the bike for a year now and my son has been quite discouraged on bike riding. I recently put him on a different bike, and he took off like he has been riding for ages. The weight and the stiffness in peddling of this bike has made it impossible for my son to learn how to use and enjoy it.

I bought this bike for my 42 pound, 42 inch 4-year-old and it was super easy to put together. However ,it was also VERY hard for him to pedal. He tried to ride it three times and the last time he was in tears. The training wheels also continually loosened and one day the pedal just fell off while he was riding. We returned it.

Ordered this for my 5 year old grandson. He liked to ride but was very skiddish without the training wheels. This bike was a little shorter than the one he had been riding. Within two weeks he had his confidence up and we removed the training wheels. He is riding everywhere and loves this bike that fits him!
