The Ultimate Pass Through Ethernet Crimper Kit: A Game-Changer for Network Professionals
I recently purchased the Pass Through Ethernet Crimper Tool Kit, and I must say, it has completely revolutionized my networking game. This kit is a true game-changer for any network professional or DIY enthusiast who wants to achieve flawless Ethernet connections with ease.First and foremost, the quality of this tool kit is outstanding. The crimper itself is solidly built, with durable materials that make it feel robust and reliable. The ergonomic design of the handle ensures a comfortable grip, even during extended use.One of the standout features of this kit is the pass-through design. Unlike traditional crimpers, this tool allows the conductors to pass through the crimper, resulting in a clean and precise cut every time. No more struggling with uneven wires or frayed ends! The pass-through feature also enables effortless visual verification before crimping, saving both time and frustration. The kit comes complete with a range of essential accessories. The included connectors are of superior quality, and the wire stripper and cutter are incredibly handy additions. I appreciate how everything I need is conveniently stored in a compact carrying case, keeping everything organized and easily accessible.Using this crimper is an absolute breeze. The instructions provided are clear and straightforward, perfect for beginners and professionals alike. Even if you've never crimped an Ethernet cable before, you'll find yourself confidently creating flawless connections in no time.I was particularly impressed by the consistent, professional results I achieved with this kit. The pass-through design ensures optimal performance, reducing the chance of signal loss or interference. Whether you're working on a small home network or a large-scale installation, this tool kit delivers reliable and high-quality connections. In conclusion, the Pass Through Ethernet Crimper Tool Kit is an absolute must-have for anyone working with Ethernet cables. Its exceptional build quality, innovative pass-through design, and comprehensive accessory set make it a standout choice in the market. Say goodbye to unreliable connections and hello to a seamless networking experience. Trust me, this kit will elevate your networking skills to a whole new level.

works well, plenty of parts
I had no idea what I was doing when I got this. After some online tutorials, I was able to use this kit to cap off a bunch of ethernet cables with no problem. Good quality and plenty of parts to use - no complaints!

Purchased as a backup
It's a decent product, just not the best out there. It crimps fine. When inspected under a microscope I noticed no damage caused to the gold pins by the die. The crimp seats the pins solidly and straight into the wires ensuring a good connection. It fits ok in my hand (large), but everyone's hands are different. It's sharp enough to slice 6/8 wires every time, with the last two just needing to be wiggled off. Not too heavy. I haven't tested the cable tester yet, but if you are relying on something for troubleshooting network connections then you need to go buy a quality tool. If you work in IT, this would make a good backup to keep in your toolbox, but you should get higher quality equipment for every day use. Otherwise, if you find yourself setting up a home network and don't see yourself using these tools much after your project is complete, or want to have them just in case, then this kit contains pretty much everything you should need.

Buy it for the tool (good value) but throw away the connectors.
The tool itself seems to do the job. It crimps the connectors and cuts the passed-through wires cleanly. The tester is fine too. I didn't buy it for the tester, but it does what it says it will do.It comes with some connectors. In my opinion, they are junk. The connectors will not make a good connection with the wires (CRC errors and momentary loss of link) and do not allow the cable to be tightly crimped. Even if I use a different tool to crimp, the provided connectors do not clamp very well.I had some other pass-through connectors on hand that I know work well. They crimp just fine. So in conclusion, throw away the connectors this thing comes with. Buy some better ones to go with the tool.

Gotta say, for the price I'm impressed. I bought this quite some time ago to do ethernet cabling then forgot about it and didn't work on the cabling until this weekend. I dug this out thinking I was going to regret not being able to send it back. To my surprise this is one of the better kits I've ever used. The crimper is very well thought out and well made. It even has the wire color coding on it.I've probably terminated a few thousand ethernet pulls in the past 30 years and TBH this was the nicest kit I've used (including some very expensive mil-spec crimpers). The tester is very basic, and I didn't think it would work, but I crimped one backwards and bent the pins (and didn't notice when I was doing it) and the tester let me know that there was a short. Pretty cool.Probably the only negative is that the instructions are a little bit thin. If you know what you're doing it shouldn't take long to figure this out. The instructions for the tester were basically "plug in the cable". It took a bit to figure out that the switch on the tester was "Off", "Slow" and "Regular". The "S" setting just makes the lights go slower so you can see exactly what is wrong. The tester also does RJ11 if you need to test that. I have no idea if the crimper supports those or not, I don't think it does. It doesn't come with anything else that supports RJ11.Anyway, the result is that I have a bunch of Cat6 ethernet cables that are working great at gigabit speeds. Somehow it doesn't make me any better at Fornite though. So sad.

Not Built for Volume Use โ Wire Jams Often, Blade Dulls Fast, Confusing to Use
I really wanted this to be a reliable crimping tool, but itโs not practical for more than very basic, occasional use.โข Hard to tell which way is up: One of the first things I noticed is how confusing the orientation is. Thereโs no clear marking or intuitive design to tell you which end is up or down. I found myself second-guessing how to insert the connectors more than I shouldโve.โข Wire scraps jam the tool constantly: Small pieces of insulation or wire get caught frequently, which interrupts workflow and gets really annoying during batch terminations.โข No guidance on blade replacement: The internal blade dulls pretty quickly, and thereโs absolutely no instruction or apparent method to replace it. Once it starts cutting poorly, youโre out of luck.โข Not scalable: After about a dozen terminations, it was obvious this tool isnโt built for repeat or professional use. Itโs tiring to use and inconsistent in results.Other reviewers have mentioned similar issues โ poor wire cuts, wire ends bending instead of being trimmed, and a lack of support for parts. I experienced all of that.Bottom line: For light, one-off home use, this might get the job done. But if youโre working on multiple drops or anything professional, look elsewhere.

Great tool to have
I canโt believe how easy this tool was to use. I used it to make a head for broken wire and it worked. The only thing is that I donโt know which order I should put the wires inโฆ donโt know which of the two I should be using. Very easy to use. Iโm a house wife with no cable experience and I could work with it.

Functional and complete crimping kit
Very nice kit that comes with basically everything you need to put ends on some wires. I particularly liked the cable tester - it was able to show that what appeared to be a faulty cable was just the result of a badly connected end, with one wire not connected properly. I used the crimper to cut off the bad end, strip the sheath, and crimp on a new end. The tester then confirmed the new connector was properly installed. Brilliant. The pass-through nature of the tool is a delightful change from the way we had to do things in the "old days."
