Unit came sealed better than OE unit. Hopefully it lasts 15 years like the factory part. Will update if it fails.

This slide motor was a direct fit and replacement for the original OE manufactured motor.My slide would only go in or out about 4-5 inches at a time and I would have to reset it and do this several times to either extend or retract the slide. I was fairly certain it was the motor or more likely, the circuit board which controls the motor operation. Either way, I popped this new motor in and in less than 15 minutes, my slide worked as it’s supposed to.This motor is about 3 times cheaper than the original one but it seems to be as good or better quality than the original. The only issue I had was, the new motor comes with heat shrink wrap down the whole motor which caused it to be too big to fit the tight spot I had to put it in. No problem though, I just trimmed off the excess and it fit just fine.If you have an RV with this type of slide mechanism, I would suggest buying one as a spare because you will need one at some point. I’ve had three as in THREE different RV’s with this type of slide system and I’ve had to replace at least one motor in each of them. It’s cheap insurance and keeps you from being stranded with a bad motor and a slide stuck in the extended position.

Very powerful electric motor. Installed in about an hour and a half. Following instructions of working in and out and slide work perfectly.

Used this instead of the OEM motor which was quite a bit more. Has been in our unit for over a year now with no issues. We travel full time so it does see some use. One item of note is that it has a rubber sleeve over it to help keep the elements out which the OEM does not.

Motor is sealed off better than the original part installed on my trailer. Water intrusion is the most common problem with the motor and this one has a leak proof seal around the top.
