I developed a sensitivity to mint and menthol mouth products. Then my dentist-recommended toothpaste started burning my tongue. Before I knew it, my tongue was swollen and painful, especially the tip. I decided it was time to confirm my suspicions about the toothpaste. It took a lot of searching to find a toothpaste without menthol or mint. I finally found 2 and ordered both. One does not contain fluoride. Dr Bob’s toothpaste does. My tongue is 90% back to normal, and after a few days of using this toothpaste (recommended for children), I can recommend it enthusiastically. My 27 year old son has had a severe problem with excessive phlegm and throat clearing since his teen ears. He has seen top allergists, tried prescription meds, etc. but has not seen much improvement.
