Review: Easy to install & works for many bikes - It is great to know that this garmin varia mount was built for ease of use. With different size seatposts and mounting areas on different bikes, I am able to move this mount between my bikes within a minute or two. Review: Best mount alternative for non-standard seat posts - I haven’t ridden with this mount as of this writing but it sure looks sturdy. Although there is a little sway side to side, it won’t get dislodge during the ride. Definitely secure vertically. I actually bounced the rear wheel quite hard and it didn’t move a mm up or down or sideways. I used the optional wedge which worked well with my Madone Gen 8 Seatpost. See pics. I only hope that the non abrasive cable would last a long time and won’t get cut. It is actually a good material choice since it will not damage carbon. I will still put a plastic film similar to ride wrap just to make sure paint won’t be damage during normal use.

**Q: Does this fit Pinarello seat posts securely?**
A: I have a 2021DeRosa SK that have an oval seat post which is similar to the Pinarello. Therefore it should. Just look at the DeRosa SK 2019 to present and compare seat post. Hope this help. Great product I love it.

**Q: Will this mount on the seat stay?**
A: I don’t think so.  Yes, it would fit around the stay but I don’t think it will tighten to such small size.  It’s intended for thicker seat post.  Again just my opinion.

**Q: Can a Garmin Edge 520 stay in this mount? Or is the Varia and Edge computer mount different size?**
A: This item is designed for the Varia on the seatpost.  It may work on the handlebars but have not attempted.  I have a Garmin 1030 which will fit on the mount

**Q: Will Varia RTL500 RTL501 fit?**
A: Yes..I use my Varia using it.. Tightens pretty well...

Update: The KOM team responded to my request and sent my a custom piece that worked well. They care and they listened. I would definitely buy again from KOM. Original msg: I bought this because it looked secure, and the standard Garmin mount always twisted around during rides. This is no better, in fact I would suggest the Garmin mount is more stable and adaptable. This gadget is constructed for a seat post that is V shaped in the back. If you have a flat-backed post as I do, or won’t work. At least the Garmin has multiple rubber pieces for different seat posts. This has one. I was shocked, and looked in the Packing twice thinking I must’ve missed it. Seriously; $40 for a mount with one type of seat post in mind. Pass on this one, and save your $40 towards nice parts worth the expense, this one isn’t. I’ve read through the 5 star reviews and don’t get it; maybe it’s just a BMC problem. I hope that someone reads this and creates another piece of rubber, and contacts me with one!
