This is good stuff. It's neither too flowery or too woody and to me smells like what I expected that incense could smell like years ago if they could ever get rid of the irritating smoke. Of course I hadn't been exposed yet to Japanese incense.Considering the quality of it's ingredients and the larger size of the sticks the Baieido Kobunboku is a very good value for the money.

This is not a 'bad' smell but not one that I would say 'oh that is nice'. It is rather dull and just not interesting.

Good price. But it's hard to find at a good price consistently. And it seems I can never can more than 1 when I do find somewhere with a good price.

Freshest I've ever had - the aroma of kobunboku fills the room before you light it.

Mild scent, hour long burn time. Wonderful meditation incense.

Very weak scent. I'll stick to Shoyeido and Nippon Kodo.
