Mechanical keyboard convert
I used to use a Microsoft Sidewinder, since I was typing in Japanese for some things, and having the characters on the board was really nice. When it started to die, I took a look at regular mechanical keyboards, since I didn't need the Japanese keys, anymore, and my gf really liked her mech board. I always hated the loudness of the switches, however. This keyboard, however, isn't any louder than my Sidewinder, and the feel of the keys is great. I use it for gaming, typing, and for photo editing work. I finally get the appeal. The backlighting has far more options than I would ever need, being the kind of person who just keeps it on the solid white setting. But, changing lighting setups is beyond easy, and the manual is very helpful. As I said, the keys/switches feel awesome, and the noise is minimal. They have the right amount of spring and click, without being obnoxious.I don't know what else I can say other than that this keyboard made a longtime skeptic a believer. Great price, and great quality.

Super satisfied with this keyboard.
I needed a keyboard that was a little less stressful for my fingers in terms of keypress. I own a Corsair Cherry Red keyboard but it is too clickity clackety for my work from home duties. I wanted something cheap but not cheap feeling. Also had to be a 10 key roughly the size of my work keyboard for familiarity.I have to say I read all the reviews, and still decided to go with the keyboard as it was exactly what I needed. The typing experience on the keyboard is superb and has made things a lot easier for me. The keys feel positive and aren't too loud. I especially like the main "enter" key sound and feel. The lighting is subtle and not in your face which I especially appreciate. NO RGB to be found here thank God! I appreciate the media keys as well, usable with the function key. There is keyboard brightness controls (4 levels including off) and the entire keyboard is made of durable aluminum. The weight is fantastic for the price paid. Not too heavy but in no way feels cheap. The ergonomics of the keyboard feel great, and the slight curvature of the keys toward the top of the board can be felt when typing quickly.THE BAD:I have to agree with others that the manufacturer decided to use the goofiest font possible for the keys. This causes some of the symbols not commonly used such as % and & to be difficult to read, especially when combined with the backlighting, as these symbols have very little "shine through" space in some areas causing them to look washed out. I really wish a normal Times New Roman font was used on the keys.It would have been stellar if there was a palm rest included. I guess you get what you pay for, but the small footprint of the keyboard definitely leaves something to be desired when it comes to the palms. I may purchase a separate palm rest if necessary. The Media keys do not work 100% on my Windows 10 machine. And as a side note - it is absurd that there is only one Fn key and it is on the right hand side. There should also be one on the left. Back to the media keys - the Pause (stop) function will work with Google Play web based music, however when I hit "Play" / F1 it brings up VLC media player. I may be able to play with some settings in VLC to disable that or a Chrome extension - however I do not have that luxury on the work PC this keyboard is split between.Overall, a fantastic keyboard with a few niggles that are to be expected for the price point. I would 100% purchase this keyboard again depending. I am only on my first week using it, so if it fails inside of a year I will come back and modify my review.

Nice budget and outlook, durability might be a problem
Three months into using this keyboard. Great outlook and touch. No complains at this price. The enter key begins to be sluggish three months after use. Can be solved by getting cheap replacement switches.A nice piece to start using and customising mechanical keyboard. Definitely not the last keyboard you are getting.
