I have looked at quite a few books to help me understand expressions ect. that Neuro-Typicals often use. I have looked at books on idioms, books on "phrase and fable," and a couple of others including "Its raining Cats and Dogs" This book, is the best of all of them for me because it doesn't waffle about the history behind a phrase. It is not a book that is too simple that makes me feel like a baby or idiot. It is up to date with real - day expressions. By far the best book. Highly recommended.

Great book very educational for a book on idioms there are so many it'll take a lifetime to learn them all.
