Is does work, just not as easy as described.
My valve stem was torn and on an old boat trailer. I tried to pull it out with the provided hook and could not get the hook in the wheel. So, I cut the stem and pushed it in the tire. Then, i attempted to put the new stem in the wheel.i sprayed the new stem and the install tube with silicone. There was no way the stem would go through the install tube. I was disappointed and ready to send it back. I decided to put olive oil on the stem and install tube. It worked perfect. I hope this helps you.

10/10 👍 works like a charm
The media could not be loaded. Really Easy! took about 5 minutes to change a valve,Make sure to put grease before removing the old valve and put grease on the new valve before installing it.It did slip 4 times to put the new one in, but I got it on the 5th try.I used only my body weight to push the valve in. I weigh 140lbs and it slipped right in.Super easy 👍 Totally worth it

It works! But watch out for the hook.
I don't usually leave reviews, however this one is for anyone that is interested in saving time and money. This kit works really well in all ways, apart from the fact that the hook for removing the old valve could do with being a bit thinner. I had to bend mine to angle it out. Make sure to use some kind of lubricant on the new valve and use a rubber mallet on the valve rod. It went in fine and is keeping pressure. Happy!

Simply amazing! Works as well as I could have hoped
I have used a lot of specialty tools in my day, and this one takes the cake for ease of use and delivering just about perfectly on its claims. I'm not sure that one could change a valve stem in 10 seconds, but I was able to replace mine in less than 5 minutes from pulling the valve core to having the tire filled to 33psi. I used some teflon spray I had on hand to lube the puller tool as well as the new valve stem. The tool is a little pricey, but should hold up with many valve core replacements and will pay for itself after the second valve core is replaced by not having to pay $25-35 to remount and balance a tire to replace a valve core.
