Works! Fits well. Good value at this price point
I’m in Hong Kong at present where the real feel on my motorcycle reaches 50 Celsius. It’s keeps me cool and lasts about 45 min (keeping me cool that is). That’s a long time compared to others I’ve tried.I do plan to use it for running and cycling too but if it lasts on my motorcycle in the presence of hot air beaming down at it, it’ll be fine.I have a CORE device and it does affect core temp in a good way (ie. Keeps it down).I’ve ordered another cooling vest - cryovest (from France) and am interested in comparing that €350 device with this.

Way way too small
I think the design will work if you are small.

A really cool idea - pun most definitely intended
What an astoundingly excellent idea. I know for certain that it is… because I had the idea first. It was back in the mid-90s and I was working as a police officer in Missouri. I don’t know if you know anything about Missouri weather, but they don’t call it the state of Mis-er-y for nothing. The winters are bitterly cold and extremely dry, and the summers are brutally hot and horribly humid. I always said I liked spring and fall – all two weeks of it. That was the way it seemed anyway. But I digress.Because of those brutally hot and humid summer days, I had a seamstress sew pockets on the inside of my bullet resistant vest carrier and I put ice large packs in them, one for the front and one for the back, which were a little bit bigger than the biggest ice pack included with this item. On those awful and sultry days, I would still be hot, but I wouldn’t be sweating and horribly uncomfortable. It took the edge off of the horrendous heat and made it bearable. If memory serves me correctly, it lasted about two or three hours before the ice packs were pretty much entirely melted.I don’t cycle, but I certainly like to be cool, so I began thinking of other uses for this item, and the possibilities are limited to your imagination. As a firearms instructor, I plan on wearing this underneath my shirt for those unbearably hot range days. But, because sometimes the summer heat makes it hard for me to focus on getting things done because I’m focused on how hot I feel, even with the AC going, this vest could even be worn around my home office to help me not think about the heat so much. In fact, as I write this, I’m wearing it now underneath a thick tactical shirt and with it being 70°, I’m perfectly comfortable – which is great. There are four ice packs included with one being a slight bit bigger than the other three. The large pack measures 6” X 6” and the three smaller ones measure 4” X 6”. The ice packs melt hard, so you need to make sure they are perfectly flat when placed in the freezer. One advantage of this vest is that, unlike the pockets I had sewn in my vest, when I first put the ice packs in, it was really, almost uncomfortably, cold against my skin. I only had a tee shirt between me and the pocket holding the ice packs. When I tried this vest on, I had a shirt over my tee shirt, and the vest was not tight against my shirt, but I did not feel that uncomfortable cold I had with my own invention. The pockets for the ice packs on this vest go on the outside of the cooling vest, so that may have made a difference.Unfortunately, this vest was too small for me – I ordered a large and I cannot zip it up easily. My chest is about 46” and the vest lacked about 8” from coming together comfortably. The material is stretchy enough to reach across and I was able to get it zipped up, but it was very tight. The fact that it has a zippered front makes it easy to take on and off without dumping the ice packs. The ice packs are situated on the back and sides, which leaves your front side to build up heat; however, the four packs should be enough to keep your overall body temperature cooler. The zipper pull tab is on the left as most women’s zippers are. If you are a man like I am, this zipper makes it a bit awkward to try to zip it, but it wasn’t a deal breaker by any means. So, as this item is marketed as a men’s cooling cycling vest, know that its zipper is on the wrong side for men.It kept me cool for about 2 ½ hours, so that is pretty much on target with my expectations. Again, it wasn’t right up against my shirt, because I did not have it zipped, but after that time, the cooling quality for a hot day was about expired. My only criticism is that I did have a little difficulty getting the large, solid ice pack in the pouch, which is made of a very thin and flexible fabric. My solution on my bullet resistant vest carrier was to have the opening of the pocket a little wider than the pocket, creating a funnel effect. It may be something the manufacture may want to consider at some point in the future.I’m giving it five-stars because I think it’s a tremendously great idea which does work very well. But, as a disclaimer, the fact that I thought of a similar idea years earlier probably has given me some bias on that.

Oh man im.going to love this
Tried it on and put the packs in place and I plan to use this under my fr clothing in warmer weather and it's going to work perfectly. Be open minded that it's reusable ice packs and it will heat up the quicker in hotter weather. This will not keep u cool for a 12 hour shift but used right it's a amazing product
