The Original Cooling Scarf/Headband/Neck Wrap for Extreme Heat Relief (Pink)

Received neck cooling band and used it right away, really works just soak in cold water and put around neck keeps cool for quite awhile.

Got this for my Grand Princess who lives in FL and needs a way to stay cool on super hot days. So far so good!

Bought three and one fell apart, the other two are really thin and not what I expected.

I get hot and sweaty a lot and this has just started being a problem in the last 15 years. I have tried a number of things to keep cool, my daughter even made me some wraps that I could put around my neck. But they were too bulky and heavy. I have gotten the habit of always carrying a hand towel with me to wipe the sweat off. I saw this cool tie and I remembered my son talking about them keeping him cool. So when I saw this I had to try it. I soaked it ice cold water for about 30 minutes, the instructions say 20. When I pulled it out of the water it wash dripping water, I wrapped it around my forehead and it felt so good the little bit of dripping water felt good too. I put it on when I took my chihuahua out for a walk. It kept me cool for the time I was outside with her. Then I soaked in cold water to wear while I was walked ng to pick my granddaughter to school. This trip is takes about an hour because I get to her while she is eating and I wait. The tie kept me cool on the way there and for about another 10 minutes. It was not any help for the walk home. I thought I should have soaked it in the drinking fountain before we left the school. I can guarantee that I will do that tomorrow. I received the pink tie and I plan on buying some of the other colors so they will coordinate with some of my clothes. I won't be using this for long days out in the heat. But if I am going to a picnic or my family reunion I will be keeping the ties in my cooler. That is another reason to have more than one. You can be soaking one tie while you're wearing a different one. If you have problems with the heat these work really good especially if you have access to away to soak one tie while you wear the other one. I'm still looking for a wrap similar to this but stays cold longer but so far I haven't found it. I recommend you to invest in a few of these ties if you are out in the heat a lot or if your like me and I have problems staying cool in my house. I will keep these around and plan on using them daily. If I come across a problem or a trick to keep them cooler longer I will update my review with what I learned. Keep in mind they don't stay cold long enough for a day out, or just a few hours. That's why I only gave it 4 stars, they just don't stay cold long enough. But I've learned creative ways to beable to continue using these so they will work good for me most of the time. But keep this in mind if you don't have away to have another one ready or a place to recool them, they may not be for you. It’s just a plain cloth neck scarf, does not keep cool at all. If you are looking for something that cools, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
